What perfect timing! I just inherited this little beauty! It belonged to DH’s grandma. I don’t know much about it, but I’m guessing. 25 carats and from the late 40’s early 50’so. I love it so much, it is so sparkly! And it fits perfectly, didn’t have to have it sized at all 😍

0.50 solitaire engagement on a 4.5 finger (which might make it look larger)
0.25 tcw wedding band (half eternity)

I find your ring absolutely lovely on you!

doesn’t look like a 0.25
might be bigger than that.
It really really pretty (I’m a sucker for solitaire)! 🙂

I got DH’s calipers out and it’s somewhere between .33 and .5! I’m going to take it to the jeweler’s next week to get it polished so I’ll find out what it is exactly then! I’m interested to know more about it!

Man, I love this thread. I’ve been through it a few times. I love small, delicate, dainty rings. I never posted my ER here, but I do have this ring I got my grandmother, it was her mother’s engagement diamond from the 20s. My grandmother had it reset at some point. It’s a little OEC or transitional cut.

Love my small ring! My wedding band will be yellow and white gold since I like to wear both!

This is my .54 round solitaire 😍 I didn’t really know what kind of ring I wanted since the proposal was a surprise but my fiancé chose me the perfect ring! ❤

Mine is just over 1/4 ct total with a .2 center on a size 4.5, I don’t feel like it’s small at all though 😍, to me all the rings on here are “normal” sized engagement rings

.5 5 1/2 finger size ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My ring is a 0.36 carat solitaire. Color is K, VS2 and my finger is Size 12 (Asia). I’m not sure about the price because the husband refuses to tell. 😀
