Mine is a 0.4 ct solitaire, which is pretty average for the area I’m in (rural UK) but definitely is ‘small’ compared to a lot of others on this board :p

I have the three stone too! Love three stone rings. The first ring we bought was 500 bucks off a friend who waited to long to return it. At the end of our payments he gave us the receipt! We didnt realize he was going to have that on him. We used it for an uprade so we only paid half price for the engagment ring! So lucky! My first wedding band was a 10k white gold plain ring we got it for 100 bucks. He got me this just last month! The engagment is 1 carat and 1/4 and the band is 1/3 of a carat . The e ring is from the celebration collection from zales. The e ring is a “low grade” diamond I1 I think and the wedding band is an SI2 which is supposed to be a higher quality diamond compared to the I1. The band is from the Leo collection at kays. Tbh I cant tell the difference.

rebekahok :  looks like mine! Same carat weight if it’s 1 1/4. Is yours from the Celebration collection?

I think mine is about average size IRL (smaller than many other weddingbee rings for sure) but when I first got it I was taken aback by how blingy it felt. Little did I know what was out there until I found weddingbee! It seems like most people opt for a bigger center stone, but I really wanted an interesting pave setting or band more than just a plain band with one diamond like a solitaire (which is really gorgeous too of course). In the future we might upgrade to another wedding set with a bigger and better quality center stone but for now I think this really represents who we are and where we are in life 😊 When I first got it too I played around with the idea of maybe getting another band for the top but I don’t think I have the finger “real estate” for three rings in this set. cry Wish I had longer fingers!

It’s a .5 carat center stone, a little over 1 total carat weight with the band. I like to switch around how I wear it too.

rebekahok :  1 1/4 is not a small ring.

My husband picked my ring out himself after looking at “over a hundred rings” The solitaire is .65 carats with 13 channel set diamonds at .70 carats. 1.35 tcw set in a platinum band. I am absolutely in love with my rings and even more with the man who gave them to me! ❤️

tanyaelise11 :  Size is relative to the person.  I wouldn’t be so quick to judge, especially after throwing out a “1.35 tcw” association with your own set.  I have seen plenty of women on the Bee huff about a 1 ct ring being too small, and others gawk that a 1 ct is way too big and they are in love with their 0.25.  So long as the person posting is not clearly disingenuous, relax and let people express their opinions.

bridetobe2018 :  How is remarking that I think a certain size isn’t small judging someone? Geez. That was my opinion why am I not allowed to express it without getting a reply like yours?

heart4wi :  And yes, I’ve earned those wrinkles :-). I’m an almost-60-year-old widow (since 2007; we had 34 wonderful years together) – and I’m getting married in about a year :-). Blissfully happy…
