What Venus gown? There are some on Ebay so you can see them on “real” people. But if you show us styles maybe we can find you something quick!

Here are a few. This one is $500 and is actually CreBre’s dress! It’s CAsablanca. Very sturdy, lots of boning, etc.

I do like the Venus gown tho

ahhhh! venus vn6631 is my dress! it was the first dress I saw when I entered the store and it was love right away. The fabric is beautiful, and it was extremely light weight compared to the other dresses I tried on. I am plus size and found the pleating to be very flattering. The tailoring and fabric seems good quality to me πŸ™‚

I have tried on both Moonlight and Venus gowns and they are made the same way.  There is no differnece between the 2 designers.

I am wearing a Venus gown (VN6603), and what I can tell you about them is:

They are so much prettier than they appear in the photos on their site! (I never would have picked this dress from the online photos alone.)

They are pretty true-to-size. You might want to go up one size from your street size, but that’s about it.

I was trying on Alfred Angelo and Venus dresses, and they are comparable in price, quality and fit.

Venus uses a “silky tafetta” fabric that is soft, lightweight and has a gorgeous (luminous!) sheen.

The diagonal front ruching (like in the one you’re looking at) is EXTREMELY flattering.

Their ivory is a bit darker than some, and their “dark ivory” is more like a light gold.

Good luck!

I like Venus! My gown was a Venus and the shop that I used to work at had a lot of Venus gowns. The prices are quite reasonable and the quality is solid! I’d be nervous about buying a gown online from anybody, but Venus dresses are good. πŸ™‚
