After looking at pictures of it online for months, I bought Willow by Jenny Packham for my September 2013 wedding. It won’t be in until July, but I can’t stop worrying about what kind of bra I’m going to be able to wear with it. I want something that will be able to add a little volume to my chest, but I don’t know because the entire back is sheer! Has anyone worn this dress, and if so, what kind of bra did you wear? Thanks!

@ktcs: First of all, BEAUTIFUL dress. It’s a really stunning piece. I can see, however, how you’re struggling with the bra issue. If you aren’t huge in the bust, you may be best off getting cups sewn in. Or have you thought of a nu-bra? Honestly, I was too much of a chicken to even look at anything I couldn’t wear a full strapless bra with lol. Good luck!

@ktcs: i also have this dress and i’m also consumed by this issue! i’m planning on losing some weight so i don’t want to start trying any options on yet but i think there are some out there! look at herroom.com and search for backless strapless longline bras. i need some support/lift as well. the jenny packham expert in my city said that they can’t sew in cups due to the lightness of the fabric. apparently it won’t do anything. so they’ve recommended i find a super low back bra or corset. and if it happens to go above where the bow part is, you can have it lined so it doesn’t go down AS low. it will probably take away from the beauty of the back but it might be my only option.
and if you do find anything great… please share! and i’ll do the same : )

@mu_t: I wore the Jenny Packham Aspen for my wedding in April 2013, which has a lace illusion back so you cannot wear a bra. I wore a product called Invisilifts – self adhesive tape strips in the shape of the breast applied to the top of the breast rather than underneath so you can pull them up a few cms. Best product EVER!!!! You can see in the pic I posted below that they give a nice ‘lift’ and fullness. I would highly recommend these 🙂

I know this a little after the fact, but I’ve become obsessed with this dress and have been doing some online stalking. I found this bride who is selling her Willow that she made alterations to the back of to fix this porblem.
Look through her photos. I personally think the stress STILL looks stunning. It would also let you wear a more supportive bra.
Best of luck ladies!
