I don’t know anyone with that experience, but I know that is one of my fears since I just bought my dress. I’m sure most guys don’t even notice the dress when they see their future wife walking down the aisle. That’s the thought process that has been calming me down when I get a bit of anxiety over it. 🙂

I don’t have to worrry about that *yet*. TBS when it comes to picking a dress I’m going to make a line-up of my top 3-5 dresses and let Fiance pick he favorite…or at least get his opinion on them.

But this is my wedding nightmare, so I don’t even want to think about it!

Honestly I would think that the husband would never tell the wife.

I know when i show Darling Husband some pics of dresses on here he will say “thats ugly” and my dress was pretty much the opposite…so it makes me feel good.

My friends husband didnt really like her dress and told me that, but he never will he EVER tell her.

I seriously would hope that even if your Fiance wasn’t over the moon about your dress that he wouldn’t say anything. Men do tend to be more oblivious to the details, so if it’s not a dress that’s very untraditional, I don’t think you have to worry anyway.

I hope that doesn’t happen but my Fiance is too smart to let me know if he thinks that! (at least I hope) I doubt they will criticize the dress that hard because they are probably overwhelm by you in the dress and not worry about the dress much.

Gee I hope not. .. I havent bought a dress yet, so hopefully Ill be able to avoid that mess through sneakily (an not so sneakily) asking his opinion.

That would suck! Sort of on the same page though…. I was so set on wearing a bird cage veil for the wedding because I have a short inverted bob and thought it would look really nice and vintage. Well, Fiance and I were sitting around not too long ago and he said, “as long as you don’t wear one of those stupid things on your head instead of a veil I’ll be happy.” Holy smokes what if he hadn’t said anything!!! Lets just say I scratched the bird cage idea after that….

Ahhh, I am so freaked out about this!!  My Fiance can’t stand anything lace.  He calls it all “doily” like those things your grandmother just to keep on her diningroom table…  However, my dream dress is a lace gown, and I’m totally torn on what to do.  I think he’ll still think I look great, but I feel like deep down he’ll be thinking – “what did she do that for…”  Haven’t purchased ‘the dress’ yet, so we’ll see what I come up with.

This is my fear as well!! My Fiance has such an opinion when it comes to looks, makeup, clothing, etc. I have pretty much convinced myself that he won’t like it! lol

Actually my fear was so bad that I was going to show him a picture of the dress so he could get over any disliking before the wedding. I told my sister this and she made a good point. “Who cares if he doesn’t like it, its YOUR dress” she said!

Ahh ha moment! So, I will feel beautiful in my dress and not worry about what he is thinking because I know that 1. he won’t say it out loud and 2. the dress will only be on his mind for a few seconds – there’s so many other major things to be thinking about!

My husband hates a lot of stuff I wear, so if he hated my dress I wouldn’t have been suprised. That said, there is not one thing in his closet that I like either and was happy that he decided to wear a standard tux for our wedding.

Haha this is one of my biggest fears – my Fiance is also reallllyyy opinionated when it comes to my clothing, so for a while I was frozen in fear to pick a dress because I’m sure he won’t like it. But I’ve moved past that and now all I can do is hope for the best 🙂
