For most of my life people have thought I was Asian because of my name.  Because I’m going to keep my last name and hyphenate at work, when I get married they’ll think I’m an Asian that married Polish.  I just can’t shake the Asian.  LOL

For the record, I’m am not Asian…at all.  LOL  I am of Irish, British, and Cherokee origin.  🙂

My new last name is pronounced the french way (even though he isn’t french) but the way it’s spelled everyone says it wrong.

I am getting an amazing Japanese name! My current last name is Thomas so it’ll be a nice change to have something unique! I’ll have to get used to spelling it. Also I’m blond with blue eyes. My bfs mom is also white and says it confuses a lot of people! I’m excited about it though!

I’m going from a hard to pronouce Scottish name, to a short, easy to say name with Mexican roots.

If I hyphnated like I wanted to, my initals would be CUM. So that’s not happening.

My new last name has a Z in it, I’m Canadian, my Fiance is American. We argue about how to say that letter every time. It’s going to be fun once we have kids haha.

I took my maiden name as my middle name.  There is something about my original initials that caused a couple of kids to tease me about them long ago in elementary school.  There also is something that I don’t like about my new, married initials.

My maiden (now legal middle) name is not pronouced the way that it appears, and neither is my married name. I joke that, when people say my new full name (First Maiden Last) they now have TWO opportunities to get it wrong, haha.

@thisisbrucebanner:  Oh my! That IS hilarious — especially if you happen to have that personality type! LOL. MY Darling Husband and stepchildren tease me about being OCD.

With my maiden name my first, middle, and last name all have 6 letters! Me and Ronald Reagan…Ofcourse I realize this in highschool during religion class.  I was really hoping when I got married this would change, and I would be able to loose this evil association behind, but NO,  I married someone with a 6 letter last name….

I don’t think about it very often, but when I do it creeps me out a lil.  (I work with numbers, and when that numbers the answer I go to the next decimal place lol)

My initials were SAC & I almost just added Darling Husband last name making it SACS [because I already don’t get a lot of crap haha], but I ended up dropping my maiden to take his, so just SAS.

Also, I’m Stephanie & Darling Husband is Mark, making our initials together S&M :/ so I avoid most monograms haha.

Every last name I’ve had has been easily misprounounced. lol When we marry next year this will be the first time I have had a non food type last name.

Maiden name-Cherry-pronounced like the fruit. Often mispronounced Sherry

Current last name from my first marriage-Frey-pronounced Fry. Always mispronounced Fray (grr)

My new last name is pronounced De-Heart although not spelled that way. Often mispronounced Da-Heart or Duh-Heart.

This will also be the first time my last name doesn’t end in a Y.

My initials will be EW.

“ma’am please initial here, here, and here to ensure you understand the blablablabla….”

me “Ew, ew, ew. There ya go!”

If I add my middle name….sigh…EAW, which to me sounds like “super ewwy”

My new last name is basically the first syllable of my first name.
