Can’t they block the person who wrote the article? Did it originate from the daily mail?

Wtf?? It’s not even a particularly interesting story! Boyfriend asks for specifics on what ring she wants and then gives her something entirely different nad she doesn’t know how to feel about it… How is that interesting enough to warrant a fuckin tabloid article? 😂

sboom :  it’s because people weren’t particularly kind in their responses. And now it’s going to get harsher responses online because people are so nasty on social media. I hardly read comments on there anymore because people are so gross

Someone called her certifiably insane and are telling her guy to run for the hills. Not on here, we are better than that at least

I agree with PPs about WB changing their deletion policies and setting at least some sort of registration first before seeing posts to give us our privacy. This is embarrassing for the bride-to-be, her Fiance, and her FI’s family!

I doubt enforcing registration is going to help much because there’s nothing stopping journalists from registering anonymously, right?

What exactly IS the reason why we only have three post deletes? (It’s three, right??)

I feel that same way. These boards are supposed to encourage women getting support, news outlets stealing posts is very harmful. Wish there was a way to prevent it.

I honestly think the poster was just some “journalist” who desperately needed more material.

but I’m a cynic like that 🤷‍♀️

TheGridMonster :  I feel that way too. Not just because I’m a cynic nut also because I want to believe people like that don’t actually exist!

Is the post still up? I saw it earlier but haven’t seen it all day, figured she was able to delete it. Unfortunately it doesn’t delete screenshots though. I feel bad for her if it was real, the ring is quite unique so it wouldn’t be hard to identify her if you knew her IRL.

Do you really think weddingbee isn’t happy for the clicks? I mean whose to say they don’t encourage this or sell the information, I mean it is in the terms and conditions that everyone agrees to on signing up.

I am laughing at the all the people shocked that a public forum is public. I mean doesn’t the groom of the original post (or any of the posts made about other people on here) deserve not to have their life posted about by someone else? It is a bit hypocritical to be saying poor OP or what about privacy when so many on here post about other people and their business.

Don’t want someone to read your personal business then don’t post it publically on the internet. No one owes you privacy when you post your business.
