I need help deciding on our appetizers to select for our reception. Does this list sound well-rounded enough to include picky eaters, kids, and vegetarians? We are doing this instead of a full-on meal, and it’ll be around 6:30pm. We’ll also pull out some late night snacks later in the evening.
Grilled Vegetable, Provolone, Cheese, and Balsamic Crostini
Artichoke and Parmesan stuffed jumbo mushrooms
Meatballs with barbecue sauce
Grilled italian herb marinated chicken skewers with basil pesto sauce
Chicken Tenders with sauces
Egg rolls with sweet and sour sauce
Hummus, Olives, Grilled Veggies, Yogurt sauce and pitas
Roasted turkey with cranberry chutney carving station (includes rolls)
Glazed ham with rum raisin sauce (includes rolls)

I’d come 🙂 Sounds delicious!

Is this everything you are serving at the wedding? If that’s the case I might swap something for a beef something?
Besides that it seems like everyone should be able to find something ot eat imo.

I’ll take one of each, please. 🙂

If that is the meal then I would add a pasta.

I’d take out the veggie tray since you have grilled veggies, I would add a beef item like a sirloin on crostini, or even a slider option, burger or pulled pork.

Sounds good to me. Very similar to what we are going to have.

What time of day is your wedding?

@sweetiejewels: The grilled veggies are ON the crostini — not a separate dish.
@Cmt83: My ceremony is at 4 and the meal will be served at 6:30

sounds like you’ve covered all of your bases. I always end up filling up on apps anyway, so I think this is a great idea.

Sounds delicious and there are plenty of choices! Darling Husband and Future Mother-In-Law could find multiple things to eat and they’re ridiculously picky!

i would want veggie egg rolls, and maybe add a slider if it’s not too expensive.
