I used to take ACV tablets every day to help ward of UTI’s. They apparently worked in conjunction with cranberry pills. I took them faithfully for three years, and felt better in the bladder department, but that could have been just the cranberry pills talking.

I used it on my hair for a while to make it shinier…it worked a little. I don’t think it really has all the health effects that people are ascribing to it, to be honest.

I used to put acv in my water to help with stomach issues.  I stopped but I am going back to it!

I used it for a bit to help with digestion but it did a number on my throat (even diluted with water). I need to look into the pills!

I used to take it as part of a cleanse when doing the My Fit Foods 21 day challenge (fresh pre made meals for three weeks).

The recipe was something like: juice from 1/2 lemon, 1 oz ACV, 2 oz unsweetened cranberry juice, and 1oz liquid B-12 (which is artificially sweetened). You drink it like a shot or you can add all that into 8oz of water. Personally, I did the shot – through a straw to help avoid the stinky smell – because the taste isnt pleasant and I wanted to get it over with.

As weird as it sounds, the harsh taste ended up being something I bizarrely looked forward to first thing in the morning (you take it on an empty stomach before getting ready for work and then have breakfast). The B12 gave me energy and the ACV and cranberry helps with digestion, kidney/bladder health and is supposed to promote weight loss/appetite suppression.

Like a PP said, I’ve also used it as a hair rinse (the idea being that the acids in ACV remove product build up and leave your hair shinier) and I’ve felt like it worked. Literally leaves your hair squeaky  clean until it dries.

I take it in liquid form when I have a cough as it’s better than medicine.

I have got some tablets left over from Darling Husband and am going to take them as when I take it for a cough I do think it helps lose a little weight.

I use it as a face toner as it really dries up pimples and cleans pores well now that i am pregnant and cant use the stuff my dermatologist gave me.
