I am trying to get some reviews on an Iphone 4. I am considering switching from my Droid Razr to an Iphone 4. I hate my Droid. Well, I dont hate it, but this is the fourth replacement for it and I am just getting tired of having issues with it. Also, with Fiance deployed I use my facebook chat a lot to talk to him, and can only be on it for about 2 hours before it drains my battery and I have to charge my phone again, which is incredibly inconvenient. I have heard that Iphone batteries last a little longer, and charge a lot faster. So, anyone love their Iphone? Or hate it? Either way I would love to hear about it!

I have an iPhone 5 now, but I loved my iPhone 4. iPhones in general have much better battery life and much faster charging time than other phones. I do think the battery on my iPhone 5 is slightly worse than my iPhone 4 was, but they’re both much better than any non-apple phone I’ve ever had. My iPhone 4 was awesome–never glitchy or any problems at all, and I would have kept it longer had I not dropped it in water and broken it. Since I had to replace it and I was eligible for an upgrade, I went ahead and got the iPhone 5, but I would have been happy with my 4 for quite a while longer.

@ChellFish22: i love my iphone 4! i am an apple lover though (own macbook, ipad mini, ipod classic) and it’s great that apps can be synced etc. i used an iphon 3s for years until i got fiance’s hand-me-down iphone 4, and i have to say 4 does last a long time battery wise. if you take a lot of photos and are picky about photo quality, i would even suggest you take the plunge for an iphone 5 – fiance has one and it takes really great photos, and is ridiculously lightweight.

@peonia: I was considering the Iphone 5. But I found a used Iphone 4 in great shape that a friend is selling, so it is obviously WAY cheaper than paying full price for an Iphone 5, which if I could upgrade I would get in a heartbeat! I am not eligible for an upgrade until next Feb, but having replaced my droid 4 times in the 1 year I have had it I am just fed up and hoping I can get something that wont break on me every time I look at it the wrong way!

I have an iPhone 4 now, but later this month I’m upgrading to the 5. It has kept me very happy the last 2 years I’ve had it, with little to no problems. My biggest complaint is my 4 as well as Fiance and some of friends gets a frozen home button. Sometimes it doesn’t recognize the buttons being pushed and you have to click it several times to go home. This isn’t a consistent problem and it comes and goes, but its a complaint I’ve heard about the 4.

@ChellFish22: I LOVE my iPhone 🙂 I have the iPhone 4s and its great I can actually go 2 days without charging it (believe it or not) and I am on it all the time, I have the screen brightness turned down a lot but I’m surprised how long my battery lasts!! I got the 4s because of Siri… I love her!! My Fiance had a droid thunderbolt and hates the damn thing (it’s so glitchy and unpredictable) as to where my iPhone NEVER has that problem! Plus my screen is so much clearer and vibrant! I’m personally sticking with iPhone and my Fiance is changing soon too since he likes mine so much 🙂 I think personally its the best choice for phones!
also I have a MacBook and I love that too 🙂

@ChellFish22: oh then i say go for it! honestly, you won’t miss the extra advantages of an iphone 5, especially if you can get the 4 at a good price. i was actuallly happy enough with my 3s and wouldn’t have upgraded for an extra cost. from 3gs onwards they are great and efficient in my opinion.

I made the switch from Droid to iPhone in January. All I can say is, WOW! SOOOO much better! I also hated my Droid, it was also freezing, randomly restarting, slow, and just not doing what I wanted it to do. It was also constantly on the charger.
The iPhone (I got the 5) is amazing. My battery lasts me all day and I would say I’m a pretty heavy user. I honestly don’t have a single negative thing to say about it.

I have DH’s old iPhone 4 that he gave me when he got his new 5. I love it, but I’m still jealous that he has the 5 because it’s lighter.

Wow! I think I might just have to do it! I was soo worried because I know that I am on my phone a LOT with using th facebook chat to talk to Fiance, but I thought it was ridiculous that it was dying on me after only being on chat for a few hours! Also, I know the camera isnt as good on the Iphone 4, but I knowyou can buy add ons or whatever that can take better pictures right? And Siri sounds fun, but I dont have it now, so I dont really care if I get it or not. Does Apple stand behind their products if it messes up? Motorola wont do anything for my phone and everytime it messes up it is a big fiasco to get it fixed. Im just tired of messing with it, and losing my pictures and things!

@ChellFish22: I bought the iPhone 4 when it came out, and I haven’t upgraded or had to get a new one. I’ve had it for over 2.5 years and have never had a problem. I’ve drained the battery a few times, but that’s usually when I’ve forgotten to charge it for a day (or two) and used it for many hours at a time (either talking, texting, using the internet, etc.).
I’m not planning to upgrade for a while, mostly because I don’t really see the point. Since the phone works well, I’m not too concerned with getting something else at this time. That being said, I may wait to get whatever Apple comes out with next (5S? 6? Who knows?). I know I’ll want to get something else in the next couple of years, but I can say with certainty that I’ll be sticking with Apple.
I also have a MacBook Pro, and I love it!
