I think if they are all on itunes, you just download them on your new device from itunes.

You can find the iTunes folder in the music folder on your current Pc. You can copy that to a flash drive and when you get your Mac put it in the music folder and voila, your stuff should be there (do this before you open iTunes for the first time). iTunes then should recognize the library there and it will say upgrading library or something like that before it lets you see all your stuff.

If all your songs are in iTunes, why not import them from there? You can take all the music you have on iTunes, put it in a zip file (if you have a lot or a really big flash drive) and then just transfer via usb device.

Apple sells a separate CD-drive that you can plug into your laptop via USB cord I think. My little brother got one for his Mac so he could do his school work which was on a disk. They’re not expensive 🙂

ETA: Wow, okay I re-read and you already know about this LOL forget what I said then

You can spend $24.99 for iTunes Match, which will store your music in the cloud so you can have it automatically on your new Mac! It’s a yearly subscription but I just spent that $24.99 once when I got my laptop and then cancelled the subscription as I was no longer putting anything new on the old laptop.

This is going to sound silly but do you have an aux outlet in your car? My 2001 ford focus did and I hooked up my ipod that way. I have a slightly newer car now and still use an aux to hook up my iphone to play podcasts, itunes also auto syncs. I also went from PC to Mac and the cloud simply transfered music and pics.
