This is a stupid question but I get mixed reviews. My Darling Husband and I are moving to a new city Dec. 1st. I have the option to be a Stay-At-Home Mom but my four year old flat up told me she wanted to go to school and make friends. Which i suppose is understandable. She is really social.. So my Darling Husband and I decided I should apply for jobs that I feel I’d be happiest at. My calling is to be a pregnancy couselor again teaching abstinence. I did so for 3 years before marriage and loved it. I have found several pregnancy centers in the area.. none are advertising hiring mainly because this type of non profit advertises volunteer work over anything..
So here’s my question: to send the centers an email and resume saying if a position becomes available not to hesitate to call…is that bad to do? I know ideally starting as a volunteer and eventually gaining employment is a good path but.. volunteering doesn’t justify paying for preschool… so my Darling Husband won’t go for that.
