My fiancé proposed about 2 months ago and now we’ve begun getting some ideas for what we want to do for our wedding (exciting!) One huge part for me is wedding fragrance, because I absolutely love perfumes.
For Christmas last year, my parents bought me a bottle of Burberry Body, which is a very rose-peach-musk-vanilla fragrance. I absolutely love it, and it suits our rose-pink-peach-cream theme well too! However, as we’re getting married in summer and temperatures can hit 35°C+ and be incredibly humid here in Sydney, I’m wondering if such a heavy perfume will be alright.
What perfumes are you all planning on wearing on your big day, and are there any you’d recommend for me/for summer? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I think as long as you love it, it will be just fine! But, I like to switch up my fragrances in the summer too, and this past summer I loved:
Daisy, by Marc Jacobs, really feminine and floral and breezy,
Stella by Tocca, blood orange that dries to a more grown up sophisticated floral, and
Michael Kors’ EDP, which to me smells like jasmine, freesia, sexy light musk, like a warm summer night.
If you have a Sephora close by they will sample these out for you (and probably give you a million more suggestions!) so you can try them with your body chemistry and see if anything stands out. Good luck!

@HelloSweetie: Unfortunately we don’t have Sephora here in Aus! It’s such a shame – I see so many nice perfumes advertised as being sold at Macy’s and Sephora that are practically impossible to get here, like all the Coach fragrances =(

i wore euphoria by calvin klein on my wedding day, but i think it’s more of a fall/winter fragrance. i wore it because it’s kind of my signature scent and my husband loves it and he wanted me to smell like me.
i also wear believe by britney spears. it smells similar to euphoria, but it’s lighter and more floral/citrusy and i actually bought it specifically for the warmer months.
another favorite of mine is pure grace by philosophy. it smells fresh and clean, not “perfumey.”
my husband got a whiff of daisy by marc jacobs recently and really liked it, so that may be the next fragrance i get. a lot of people seem to really love it.
