I emphasize the January because I cant believe its already January!
I need to:
-Finalize catering menu
-the bridesmaid dresses are IN! so I just need to get them to my girls that are all out of town and hound them about alterations!
-pick out the bridesmaids’ accessories/shoes
-get accesories for my dress (basically chandalier earrings)
-Book my hair and make up trial for March.
-have my wedding band custom made and purchase FI’s wedding band
-start thinking about/working on favors for our guests.
-Meet with the officiant to go over what will be said during the ceremony
-start picking out songs for the ceremony/reception.
-decide where to go out after the reception/where to have brunch the next day.
SOOO much to do still!

We’ll be traveling over the Denmark (from Germany) for a civil cermony, so my to-do list is considerably more basic: top priorities figure out what to wear and pick and confirm location! Since only our nearest and dearest will be there, we don’t need to worry about invitations and rsvps, just about getting the details organized as quickly as possible so transatlantic travel can be arranged. No, that’s not stressful at all … 🙂
I’m just glad we decided to go this route and save the reception (back in the states) for this fall, so I only have the actual wedding to arrange in a few short months, not the big party too!

My list looks very similar to the ones already listed…regretting taking such a break from planning during the holidays..oops!
My highest priority right now is the invitations and the rest is just additional stress like the fact that I’m still waiting for my wedding dress I ordered FOREVER ago to come in!
