I wanted to ask the April 2012 brides how much more planning/buying do you have to do? I’m pretty much finished. I just have to buy little things like a garter, some fabric to cover the wedding arch & cupcake stand, etc. I also have to finalize on some music. That’s all I can really think of right now.
What about you girls?

That’s basically about all I have left too. I need my garter, the guestbook, and I also need to finalize my music!

All I have left are some DIY projects…finishing the guestbook, printing the programs.
Starting to freak out that April is NEXT MONTH!! =)

I have alot to do! Music, garter, guestbook, decide if I want to do programs or not, meet with all of the people (dj, photog, videog, caterer) to finalize everything, get Bridesmaid or Best Man shoes, decide on a hairstyle..

I’ve got a running list – programs, buy the rest of the liquor, write thank you notes to go with our wedding party gifts, still need to buy gifts for our wedding coordinators as a thank you, need to finish a wreath I am making for above the fireplace at the reception, work on the day of schedule and be sure I have all the correct payment amounts and dates written out, I need something old still, Need to finish my thank you gift for my parents, I need name plates for our rehearsal dinner, Need to make my nail appointment, Find a pet sitter for our honeymoon as well as figure out when I can cancel paper and mail for our honeymoon.
Wasn’t until this weekend that I got the feeling of “ok, I’m over this – let’s just be married already”. 40 days to go! I can’t believe how close we are ladies!

@Lindsey2005: Yeah me too – today I hit the wall of I am tired of all of it – dieting, projects, planning, my guests lol all of it

I just made a to-do list yesterday! On it are: programs, menu cards, escort cards, wrap favours pick out first dance song, create wedding day itinerary, write speech, confirm with vendors (DJ, cake, florist/decorator, limo), card box
Post # 10
Decorate Card Box, make music decisions, finalize dessert order with bakery, finalize welcome cocktail details and book a pet sitter. In addition to all of those tangible things, I plan to check and recheck with all of our vendors and such to make sure that everything is on board. Things are getting so close, I’m so glad that I did all of my crafting projects early on – I don’t know if I could focus at this point.
In two weeks from now, we are having our food tasting, meeting with our officiant and I’m having my hair trial…all in one day. I know I’ll be so burnt out, but we are planning this from 6 hours away so we need to fit lots of things into a short time frame whenever we are in the area. I have my shower the following morning as well…gah!
We are at about 42% response rate right now with RSVP’s…deadline isn’t until April 1 and the anticipation is driving me insane!

Date twin! I’m getting married in Louisiana too!
My list: Wedding programs, guest book, table runners, votive candles, wedding jewelry, garter, food signs, picking music for ceremony and reception, and buying a reception dress. I feel like my list is pretty manageable, but I can hardly concentrate at work!

Well I have alot to do! Or at least it feels like it.
I am on a small budget so I have a lot of DIY projects.
To finish: Programs, dj music list, centerpieces, tissuepaper bouquets and boutineers, arch pompanders, sew table runners, put together flatware wraps, gifts for about 4 more people.
That is what I can think of off the top of my head. I am planning on organizing tonight.
Good Luck Everyone.
