So nice to hear I am in good company.  Had our appt today with venue and feel like it is coming together. I feel like we are well organized and in a good position as well πŸ™‚ Helps that fiance has a detailed budget since we are paying for the wedding lol.

I will hope for no rain on our wedding day πŸ™‚ and in my case I live in Ontario Canada, so cheers to no snow as well. lol.

Please keep me updated.  No nerves yet, but so nice to hear how you are all doing and feeling leading up to the day πŸ™‚

54 days and countingggggggggg! 2 weeks ago we had a really successful meeting at our venue with all our vendors and it was fantastic. Its great to see the excitement from all the people we are working with and we know our party will be a blast. So many personal touches and we hope folks notice them (even though they probably wont!)

Its going to be fantastic!

Hi ladies, I have 46 days until the big day!  I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by.  We got engaged in March and I felt like I had so much time to plan everything lol.  I’m not stressed about the wedding.  However, the the fact that my inlaws will be flying in from Germany and staying with us for 2 and a half weeks AND that we won’t be following the normally custody schedule with my stepkids is COMPLETELY stressing me out.  Hopefully my Fiance makes it to the big day without me strangling him teehee.

I hope planning is going well for you all!

Order of service agreed with the vicar πŸ™‚ just a shame that the next time we see him is for a funeral and not our rehearsal.

CarribeanBridetoBe:  I’m your semi-date twin: I’m getting married on Wednesday April 15 but doing a Chinese Wedding Tea Ceremony on the 14th to pay tribute to my Chinese roots.

Have a wonderful wedding in the Carribean πŸ˜€

April 25th bride here. πŸ™‚ We just settled on our very last vendor (the cake!) and it feels good to have everything planned. Exactly two months away from today, can’t wait!

My first dress fitting is tomorrow – so excited! Since I agreed to purchase the sample dress I got free alterations. Hoorah!

I’m April 25th too!! AHHH! How is it already THIS close? Does anyone else feel like everything is pretty surreal? I think I’m in denial it’s happening or something hahaha.

Started getting RSVP’s back and I stare at them and thing oh my goodness we’re at THIS stage of the whole thing! it’s CRAZY! We got engaged in December 2013 so it felt like it would take forever to get to this point but it has FLOWN BY!

At this point, all that’s left to do is seating arrangements (this will be a pain I’m sure!!) and choosing bridal party entrance songs. It’s hard to believe all the other details are DONE!

April 3rd over here… less than a freakin’ month left!! Deep breathsDeep breaths. DEEP BREATHS.

What’s left: I’m giving people a few days past the RSVP deadline and then it’s time to hunt folks down. I’m making a second veil, but that should only take an afternoon. I need to cut out fabric circles and tie them to the top of our jam-jar favors. I also need to finalize the ceremony wording; I’m about 80% there. I’m hunting down final gifts for family members, and need to make the escort cards (though I have the seating arrangements 95% of the way done – just waiting on those last few RSVPs). And then I’m taking the whole week off before the wedding to run around getting last minute things like s’mores supplies, snacks for the candy/savory bar, a card box, miscelleous signs, etc.

My goal for this remaining (less than a) month: minimal stress. Deep breaths. Churn through things one task at a time, don’t get too bogged down with options. It will all work out. Right?!
