Hello! Fellow April 2019 Bee here. 🙂 Your destination wedding sounds so fun – love that you are accentuating the tropical theme!

Date?

April 13, 2019

Where are you from?

Wisconsin

Where will it be?

Saint Paul, Minnesota

How many guests?

Around 120

Theme/ Decor?

No set theme or color palette (will try to stick to neutrals/black and white), but I’m going for a simple (yet elegant), quirky, and fun vibe! Having bridesmaids wear their choice of long black dresses; hopefully groomsmen will be in gray or charcoal suits. Florals will be bulk from Costco – just baby’s breath and greenery. Simple centerpieces with glassware from Goodwill, candles, and aforementioned florals.

How is planning so far?

It’s going well! We have been trying to nail down the big vendors asap – so far, we have venue, photographer, and salon. We have a catering tasting tomorrow (fingers crossed!) and have confirmed availability of DJ, bartending service, and day-of-coordinator. Only things stressing me out at this point are the guest list and $$$. 🙂

Our colors and lilac and pale yellow, no real theme as we’re just having a small ceremony and then celebrating in a cabin and dinner at the Stanley Hotel

How is planning so far?

Sooo easy! We booked this company that takes care of everything for us including photo and videography. All we have to do is show up lol.

Date?

April 19, 2019

Where are you from?

New Jersey

Where will it be?

New York City

How many guests?

~20

Theme/ Decor?

No theme, jsut focusing on getting married and having close family and friends present to witness

How is planning so far?

Quite easy! We are basically “eloping” with close family and friends present. Hired a photographer whose wife is an officiant…. we have no official ceremony location. Apparently in New York you can get married wherever you want, and so we are leaving it up to our photog/officant to tell us what spot looks best in photos. Dinner reservation at One if By Land, Two if By Sea which is one of the “most romantic restaurants in the city”. Jetting off to Jamaica the next morning– can’t wait!

  • Wedding: April 2019 - The Edge of Webster

Date?

April 27, 2019

Where are you from?

Southern IL, he’s from St. Louis

Where will it be?

The Edge of Webster in Webster Groves, MO

How many guests?

Around 100 if everyone brings their children, but more realistically we expect around 80

Theme/ Decor?

Mint and shades of pink with gold. However, most of our stationary is based around greenery so I’m trying to incorporate a bit of that in there too.

How is planning so far?

I’ve been through a lot of stress this year, but overall I’ve enjoyed it. I definitely enjoy it more right now because I recently quit the job that was causing a lot of unnecessary stress and trouble in my life.
