Any other April 5th brides here? Only 26 days left, and I’m going crazy… if you see me bouncing off padded walls while mumbling incorherantly, just remind my doctor to actually FILL my xanax ‘script, please! LOL

Yay! Another April 5th wedding! Mine is in a boutique hotel – since I’m up in Michigan, it will probably still be too cold to have an outdoor wedding in early April.

OMG… I’m going crazy!
Well.. not really. Can’t go crazy when it’s already my home.
I dropped everything off at the venue on Friday – place cards, table numbers, table tents, guestbook (and other misc stuff to go with the guestbook – the custom pages, pens, a bin to put completed ones in), cake topper, zombies, wooden flowers for decoration, decorated metal bird cage thingy for the cards, favors and probably some other stuff that I’m not remembering) and made my final payment for the venue… so that’s all taken care of! The dress is in my closet, shoes are in front of the closet, groom’s stuff is all in his closet (except that I forgot to pick up black shoe polish AGAIN), wooden bouquets are in the closet (hiding from the cats) – programs are done.
The only things that I really need to do is braid the ribbon for the handfasting. And pick up a few things at the store. And pack for the wedding and the honeymoon! I work 12 hour days on both Monday and Tuesday, and people are starting to fly in on Wednesday, but I’ll have Wednesday & also Thursday morning to pack. Oh yeah, and clean out my car.
Oh, and I still have to talk with the DJ…. doing that later today to go over the songs & stuffages.
So how are you doing. XHoulaX??

Congrats, I hope it all went smoothly! Also, that you’ve recovered from all of the work, lol. I got off real easy…a basic beach elopement.

I survived! Apparently, according the guests, it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to! The ceremony itself was short… only about 15-20 minutes, including the walking down the aisle. The hor dourves were very tasty and disappeared quickly… one of the servers kept butlering the wedding party hor dourves while we were getting photos as well, and said the the guests loved them. And the bar. Of course the guests loved the open bar! I got lots of rave reviews on the ceremony musician and the DJ as well… and catering staff was great and so was the food. Honestly, nothing major (or even really minor) went wrong and it was a great evening!
The only “bad” thing that happened is that I ended up with a migraine – I’m prone to them, and with the lights and noise and stress to that point, it was kind of understandable. Which meant that I had a few friends give me a head/neck rub and run to get me meds. 😀 So even that wasn’t bad in the long run!
