@MinnesotanInDC:  I am finally emailing our DJ to set up a meeting to discuss music. We also just booked some transportation and will be making favors soon. All these little details just tend to pop up now that we are getting closer.

Hmm, I don’t think so. I’ve created so many lists over the last year of being engaged I think I have everything checked off that I need.

MARRIAGE LICENSE!!! FI and I have to drive OOT (only 30 minutes away) to get ours so he’s going to have to take a day off work so we can do that. It’s in the back of my mind to do it (because we gotta do it no more than 30 days out) but I’m having nightmares I will forget to do or get something important.

I am not as worried about me forgetting something as I am about the groomsmen. They are guys and really couldn’t care less about wedding planning so to them everything I ask them to do is no big deal. I really think the best man is the only one who has gotten his outfit for the wedding and we are 56 days out!!! Ugh I need to find a way to get them to see “HEY THIS IS IMPORTANT” without turning all bridezilla.

That and I keep having nightmares that I wake up in my venue on the morning of my wedding. Guests are already there and nothing is decorated and I am frantically running around trying to hang decorations and find my dress while guests are sitting there watching me waiting for the ceremony to start….this is my least favorite nightmare.

@prettypincushion:  I think the guys are waiting till the last minute because it doesn’t take any hassle or fuss like us girls. They are just getting a rental suit. My guys should be getting theirs by the end of this month. I told FI to give them a deadline to get it (March 30th I believe but I need to call Mens Warehouse just to be sure).’ They will get their suit back in 2 weeks and then they pick up the tuxes 2 days before the wedding. Us women aren’t that simple! (Sigh)

@lindseyl06:  My guys aren’t renting since we aren’t doing full suits. All they had to buy was a shirt and a pair of suspenders, simple enough right? Aparently not, hopefully they get their asses in gear soon….and actually all of my bridesmaids have all of their ourfits and accessories, they got them the week we decided on the dress thank goodness for those ladies 🙂

I almost forgot that I need to get my dress bustled! The train is so pretty that when I’ve gone to the tailor all I’ve seen is how pretty it is and not that I’ll be tripping all over it. I’ve posted this picture before, but I cannot let anyone not see my dress!

Finally setting up final appointments with officiant, venue, dj.. Getting FI and his best man motivated to get their suit rental picked out and set up!
