amongclouds :  Yes, CDC recommended this. I don’t think its required to follow it, but at this point it seems wise to. Different states and cities may have specific requirements that must be followed.

Where are you located? My city just closed all restaurants and bars and temporarily revoked all liquor licenses that are not liquor store sales. Your city may be close behind. I would postpone. I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

We’ve decided to hang in there. We’re not sure what our wedding will look like, it’s currently 100ppl but depending on changing guidelines and guests deciding not to come it’s probable that it will be immediate family only.

Fiance’s sister is stuck in Canada, so she definitely won’t be there. I’m also feeling incredibly selfish that this is my main concern… It just sucks so much, but ultimately we want to be married 🤷🏼‍♀️😢

Honestly, it sucks but I would definitely postpone it. They just started actually testing in the US so they have no idea what the real numbers are. [The virus has been spreading since December and I do know a bunch of people in a town I used to live in that caught a very contagious long-lasting respiratory infection with high fevers, etc last month that sounds exactly like this virus, but they were only tested for the flu, strep, etc at the time – maybe it was this virus, maybe not.]. I think everyone will also totally understand doing a city hall wedding if you want to keep your original wedding date and having the big celebration later under these circumstances.
