@gingerkitten:  I just bought a couple groupons – One for a Facial, Massage, and Pedicure package ($74) and one for a massage (I got one for my sister for her birthday and for myself to go with her!).

gingerkitten:  Well I’m having a super small wedding where nobody actually needs an invite, but I did in fact buy invitations so mailing them out before the wedding would make it so I didn’t waste my money…it’s on my list. Heh!

Things I need to do ASAP:

Mail out invitations

Pick a cake

Buy some kind of decor (so far I have a tablecloth, 3 candle sticks and a semi-thought out plan)

Oh yeah, before I mail out invites I might want to decide what time we’re getting married)

Get the marriage license

Before that, find my birth certificate, marriage certificate and divorce decree…

Find two of my children something decent to wear to my wedding

Set aside money to pay the officiant, pay for the food (which I’m cooking) and alcohol

Other than that I’m right on schedule.

gingerkitten:  Also just realized, I still have to repaint my livingroom before the wedding cause we’re getting married in it. Dammit Batman!

gingerkitten:  Ugh, it really needs it. We had an issue about a month ago. Our furnace had a tantrum and started putting out soot, the chimney stack runs right up the livingroom wall and we have lathe and plaster. So basically everything needs to be repainted cause it all looks really dirty. And now I’m wondering if I’ll have to wash the walls first to avoid smearing soot with paint. Son-of-a-bitch. No time for this stuff! lol.

Finish crafting for ceremony and reception decorations.

Finish favor bags (flower stencils on burlap bags filled with flower bulbs).

Follow up with missing RSVP’s.

Follow up with photographer, DJ, Chaplain, to make sure nothing has changed since I booked them a couple of months ago.

Make a CD of ceremony music.  Finish selecting reception music.

Pick up dress at alterations.

Finish organizing my house so my fiance can move in after we’re married!  (this is what is stressing me out the most!)

With just over 3 weeks to go, I suppose that is enough!  (April 13)
