@anotherbee:  Oh my… the house! Well as I said we were hoping for eletrical to be done and drywall starting, well electrical is almost done, but no drywall, then the contractor points out a huge crack in the foundation! OH S*%$#! We have already been though fixing the foundation, it is not fun or cheap. Anyway, long story short, we are leaving it and moving on, it doesn’t look to be affecting the work being done and it has been repaired, so we hope it wont get any bigger. There is also a support beam in the house that we need to re-address because the previous contractor kind of half thought about it then just ignored it. Which means bringing in a structural engineer, all things that delay drywall! (sigh) Just in case your interested I have some pictures here http://trippingdaisies.blogspot.com/

I am begining to wonder about stress related delayed ovulation, because stress is something I have, Haha, don’t we all!

A 4 weeks= extention is good, right? I mean it is not 2 years but a least it is something. Although, it must be very frustrating to be strung along like that.

Sorry for the moody post, I am still stinging a bit from the meeting with the contractor, and a little worrried about my DH’s medical stuff. He went for his medication a week or so ago and his pharmacare rate changed and his medication now cost $2600! Surprise bill at his appointment. I don’t think we can comfortably cough up that kind of cash every 8 weeks, even if it does get re-imbursed, Shoot, I did it again, moody comment.

Hmm, better go have a cookie, everyone is happier after a snack. And maybe my lunchtime yoga class will destress me a little. Thanks for listening to my complaining, it is very helpful to get it all out.

@anotherbee:  I totally recomend saving as much as you can now, I bigger downpayment is always better.  I might be jaded but there always seems to be something that comes up with houses.

The $2600 is what Darling Husband pays, not the full price of the medication which $4000+.So some is covered already. No installments. He does get most of that back, but still not ideal to pay up front. I’m not entirely sure why the big price change, I think it has to do with income taxes and a change in his medical coverage. It will get sorted out but it is like all things lots of back and forth of phone calls and paperwork. All with him going to europe next week and the house stuff.

Doesn’t it suck when other things hold up the things we want? I am determined to TTC in April whether the house is done or not, we will make it work and take things as they come.

OH and Darling Husband just texted me, his car won’t start! I might need more than a cookie!

@anotherbee:  thanks, i coud use a a little more distraction.

No Ovulation yet, CD22, of what has otherwise been a fairly regular 28 day cycle. Oh well maybe it will go on long enough that this will mean we will actually get to start TTC at thebegining on April again.

Dont lose hope of a job yet, there is still a chance they will work something out.

@anotherbee:Yay! What a bit of good news! I really hope this works out for you. You must be so relieved. I can only imagine how upset you were when it seemed like things were not going to happen.

As for me, the good news is… We have the beginings of drywall on the house! I can’t believe how happy a little drywall makes me. The bad news is, still no ovulation. I am hoping it is a stress related delay and now that there is drywall my stress level will go down. But even still I am looking at waiting a little while still for TTC.
