I am NOT doing an April Fool’s Day prank this year…it is very out of character for me to skip this major holiday but I’m sure my Fiance will appreciate my hiatus!

Nope. I hate April Fools. Horrid day in my opinion. My fiance tend not to recognize this day as anything other then “April 1st”, just like valentines day is just “Feb 14”. I think I probably used to be more into it until HS when I heard of this girl playing a prank on her Boyfriend or Best Friend that she was pregnant a month later they found that she was really pregnant. Besides I played a joke on a freind once and they were mad at me for months, so lesson learned, I’m never playing pranks again.

@VirginiaMarie—You got the April Fools thing over early this year, huh? Haha.. That story still makes me laugh.

I can’t do April Fool’s because I suck at being sneaky. Fiance always knows when I am lyin’.

I never really got into April Fool’s day.  I guess I never understood the whole point behind it.

@VirginiaMarie: Glad that you’re sitting this one out, LOL!  Although I might steal that idea and use it on my DH!!

FH and I were thinking about doing a prank on our families, but we think they may freak out too much.

I don’t do April Fool’s pranks anymore for a seriously scarring reason: my grandma died on April Fool’s day when I was 14. We had expected it (she had pancreatic cancer) so while we were sad, we were also prepared and went to the funeral home that day. The sales guy there literally played a joke on us. She had picked out a casket and he thought it’d be funny to tell my grandfather that the price had gone up an extra $2,000. Not cool.

Hahaha Bad Kitty. I think that’s still one of the funniest stories I’ve ever read on here. You’ll never live that one down VirginiaMarie!! LOL!

@lilyfaith – Seriously?! That’s such bad taste! That’s awful! I can’t imagine how anyone would think it would be okay to play an April Fool’s joke on a grieving family at a funeral home! That’s ridiculous!!!!

@Lillyfaith—that has to be one of the worst stories I’ve heard.  WOW.  How terrible, I’m so sorry.  What a bad employee.

@lilyfaith – that is the worst “joke” I have ever heard of!  That is completely unprofessional behavior to say the least – especially to tell a grieving family!!  I can’t image what the sales person was thinking (obviously he wasn’t)!!

Wow, lilyfaith — what a horrible thing for him to have done!  I’m so sorry that happened to you guys Cry

I don’t bother with April Fool’s jokes b/c I cannot keep a straight face if my life depended on it!  Same reason I never play poker  LOL
