Well, I started cramping yesterday so while AF isn’t here yet, I’m pretty sure my first IUI didn’t work. I knew the odds were low, so I’m not too surprised but it’s still obviously disappointing. It was nice to feel hopeful this cycle but I was trying to temper that was realism. I kinda just want AF to get here so I can move on to the next cycle. I need to do at least 3 IUIs before my insurance will let me move to IVF…

THAT IS INCREDIBLE NEWS!!!! When will you know how many make it to blast? So happy for you!
Thank you so much, maybe 19 WILL be it. I hope May is it for all of us! Thanks for starting May board, I will be rolling over 🙂
So sorry, right there with you. Moving on to IUI#2.
Unfortunatley, my insurance doesn’t cover IVF at all. So if #2 and #3 fail for us and RE recommends IVF we will be 100% out of pocket. DH and I will still have alot to discuss if it comes to that.

I’m sorry bee!! I can totally understand your disappointment! Here’s hoping you wont have to graduate to IVF!
Sorry to hear your insurance doesnt cover IVF! Ours doesnt cover anything so we’re really hopeful for IUI’s as well.

Last update – had my 3rd beta and first US today! Beta was over 6000 and has doubled appropriately every 48 hours. Bean is snuggling in nicely and the Dr. said everything was measuring perfectly. I’m still early (5 w 2 days) so I was prepared to only see a gestational sac, but we saw a yolk sac and fetal pole! Can’t wait to watch Bean grow!
Baby dust to all the warriors rolling over to May!
@vintagebee17: Also we paid for IVF 100% OOP so if you have any questions happy to answer!
