i agree – not too early! i’m 1DPO, but my HCG blood draw isn’t until 4/3. i’m going to try to wait to test at home as long as i can, but we’ll see how that goes…

I’m in – wanted to be testing at the end of March for my 30th birthday, but missed out thanks to an extra long cycle last month (37 days – hell when my PMS symptoms match most pregnancy symptoms).

Using OPKs for the first time this month, and hanging out for a positive test – already at CD17 so looks like it will be another long cycle, although getting some CM now so hoping it will be soon.

Started having sex regularly a week ago, in case it was a 29 day cycle, so we’re already at a week of sex every day and so far for no productive reason (lucky it’s fun!!). Had a night off last night though, to re-charge for the weekend ๐Ÿ™‚

I imagine I’ll be testing early April… guess I’ll base it on my O date…

Good luck all – hope it’s a lucky month!!

Yay I can join!! CD1 today after an early Feb. miscarriage and I’m ready to tackle this month! Just happy to be back in the game!  Hopefully my cycles won’t be all wonky and I’ll POAS in mid April!

@MRSLMA:  YAY! I’m so glad AF showed up for you! Nice to have a fresh start! ๐Ÿ™‚

If I don’t get pregnant this month, I should be POAS again in April. My 1st cycle after miscarriage was long, but in March I ovulated on my usual date (CD12), so things seem back to normal. Since I have shorter cycles, I should be testing again around April 21st. I calculated my due date for that cycle (since I’m crazy) and it would be Dec. 31st. Egads. We don’t want a Christmas baby but we’re going to go for it anyway, since we really want a baby… period.

@MRSLMA:  @78h2o:  Two familiar faces! Thanks for all the advice when I was going through my MC. Hopefully, we’ll all have BFP’s soon!

As for me, I am on CD4. I’m going to BD starting tomorrow everyday uintil April 8! Should be fun timesTongue Out! I’m going to wait until the day AF is expected to POAS and that is April 18. I pray the witch doesn’t show!

@mintmercury:  Just curious- Are you having a HCG blood draw to determine if you are pregnant or do you have regular blood draws? I’m just asking because I thought they only did it if you were already pregnant or suspected you were pregnant.

I’m in! And if this cycle doesn’t work, I’ll be testing again in April. Who knew that a 25/26 day cycle would come in handy one day? I started using OPKs this month purely out of curiosity. We’re only in month #2 of trying. I hope it’s the last one. These unregulated periods are killing me. Birth Control Pills, I miss you!

@78h2o:  @MARIE901:  I’m glad to see familiar faces too (but bummed we’rea all POAS again….boooo)  I’m hoping that this is a lucky month for all of us!

@78h2o:  Sorry if this is Too Much Information, but how much longer was your post MC cycle? I was going to try to stay away from OPK’s but I’m thinking that since my cycle may be different than normal it might actually help to use them to get a better idea of when a pregnancy test would even show an accurate result.  LOL, I was going to be a total creepy stalker and PM you about when AF showed up for you…. and now I’m being the creppy stalker asking you about your cycle lengths:)

@MRSLMA:  I know you asked @78h2o:  but can I join in? lol! Were your periods more intense or less intense after the MC? Mine were a little better than normal (cramps about the same, but bleeding was less..if that makes sense) My cycle lasted 33 days from the day of the MC to the day of my first cycle, which is pretty normal considering they last anywhere from 27-35 days. My body is wonky. I hope I’m not coming off as a creepy stalker. it’s just nice to talk & compare with people who have experienced and gone through what you have.

@MRSLMA:  @MARIE901:  – LOL, you girls are funny. You don’t sound like creepy stalkers at all! There’s not very much that’s Too Much Information when it comes to TTC. Don’t know if this helps, but my cycles prior to MC were 23-24 days long, with o usually on CD12 and a 11-12 day LP. The cycle that included my miscarriage was 30 days long and I think I o’d on CD18. The cycle after that (my current cycle), I o’d on CD12, so it should be another 24 day cycle (unless I get KU, but our timing wasn’t great). You can check out my charts here: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/38d09d I thought my first period post-mc was pretty normal. Maybe a little on the heavier side, but not terribly painful or anything.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. I’m glad that you both are here trying again… I hope we all get our take home babies very soon!!!

@MRSLMA: I use the CBE digital opks with the smiley faces so that I don’t have to stress over whether they’re positive or not. I’ve gotten positives every month I’ve used them. I paid $35 for a box of 20, so they’re pricey, but since I have shorter cycles, one box has lasted me for 4 months… not SO bad. I could be using even less of them if I followed the directions and stopped at the first positive. I figure it’s cheaper than what I used to spend on birth control every month and it’s worth it for my mind. It I had long cycles, I’d definitely be using Wondfos instead. All that being said, if you can just BD every other day, then there’s probably no need to use opks if it’s stressful. ETA: I forgot for a minute that you had all those issues with getting negative tests. I would use opks or chart if it were me.

@MARIE901:  What day are you supposed to o in April? April 8th or before then?  I give you credit for BD’ing every day from now until then! I wish we had that kind of energy! I am working full time and also taking classes, so I am usually gone from 6:30am until 8:30-10pm and it just isn’t going to happen except when it reaally needs to! Sadly! ๐Ÿ™‚ My projected o date for April is April 9th. I’m going to aim for every other day the week before and then the 2 days right before o. We’ll see!
