ShellVee:  So exciting! My husband had a 9 month project in Australia in 2012, so I got to visit him a few times. And I studied abroad in Wollongong as well. LOVED everything about Australia! Where abouts in Europe did you visit? We’re headed to Italy, Croatia and France. Part of me thinks maybe we should hold off on TTC for the next few months, but part of me thinks we need to continue TTCing… I’d love to drink lots of wine and eat all sorts of cheese!

Roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO:CD1

Ovulation Date: Last month it was CD17

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: April 16th / usually 28-9 days.

Cycles Trying: BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): This is #2, We tried to hit days 12-18 last month, but went a few days before 0 without, as I was confused as to when I 0ed, amd DH was not loving the BD on demand and it was all a bit new for us. I am on women’s multivits and folic acid, and we used preseed externally last time, which we both enjoyed! I might try every other day from 12-18. Less pressure and more fun. If we feel like ED, then we can always do that too. I used OPKs last time, and might test from CD15-18 this time too.

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? I am trying to find a non baby related project to get my teeth into (I have been obsessing about cribs). I have started to crochet cute hippie vest, and I am also trying to get into running/ jogging / walking as its so nice out right now. I am big into yoga, but my studio does a lot of heated yoga, which I have decided is not TTC friendly… so also finding a more suitable studio for me!

And for fun:

What’s your favourite movie, and why? Hmm, you know I love Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. I also loved Meet Joe Black. Kevin Costner and Anthony Hopkins are my favorites!

Roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD8

Ovulation Date: 3/28

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: POAS 4/7 (DH’s birthday!) / 28 days

Cycles Trying: BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): 2nd cycle trying, 1st after MC . Got pregnant first cycle trying after one month NTNP – positive test 1/4 and MC confirmed on 2/10. Going with what worked last time; Charting, EOD, and prenatals

Link to Chart, if any:

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? Since the MC I have been very big on house projects that I shouldn’t do while pregnant – so this month I am going to paint the kitchen – not fun but I can’t wait to get cover up the old paint. Also, going to start working on cleaning up the yard

And for fun:

What’s your favourite movie, and why? :)

I don’t really have one . I like a lot of movies but don’t have a favorite.

ShellVee:  HAHA, love the “enceinte” vs “pas enceinte” story. I would have had to show some random person who spoke french and english… talk about awkward. My husband and I went to NZ last winter and had a fantastic time, we drove to this remote area called “Cathedral Cove” and spent a wknd at a bed and breakfast. It was just fabulous! I have two cycles before our big Europe trip and if I don’t get pregnant, I plan on getting drunk every.single.day.

no_elle:  heated yoga isn’t TTC friendly??? I go 5-6 times a week because it makes me feel great and it’s the only exercise that keeps me de-stress. I thought it wasn’t recommended if you do while pregnant, I didn’t know it’s not recommended while TTC… oh dear.

NowandLater:  you know, my obgyn said it was fine, and that as I’d been doing it so much it would be ok too, as my body was used to it. I just didn’t think it felt right! I read something about putting your body into a fever state. I think I’m just being overly cautious.

no_elle:  I understand. You can never be too cautious. I seriously love heated yoga and I swear by it, so I think until I see that BFP, I’ll continue to go.

ROLL CALL!

CD/DPO: CD 64 Blllleeeeehhhh.  Think I’m ovulating today/tonight, though!

Cycles TTC/Charting: TTC since August but that’s only 5 cycles/5 charting

Age: 30

POAS/AF Date: Haven’t definitively ovulated yet… My practitioner doesn’t want me testing until 21 DPO so IF I am, in fact, ovulating, I’ll try to wait until April 9th!

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: 2 chemical pregnancies; after hormone bloodwork (not progesterone) there were no flags. We have, in past cycles, BD’d everyday in the fertile window. This cycle I’m aiming for EOD and maybe two days in a row on the day of ovulation. Using supplements and PreSeed.

Link to Chart: My Ovulation Chart

I’m going to enjoy the increasingly wonderful weather!

My favorite movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life”.
