Roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO:CD19

Ovulation Date: Just got a positive OPK last night and this AM (CD 18/19)
POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: April 4th / usually 30-31 days. Our 1 yr anniversary is April 5th so if love nothing more than to give DH the best anniversary gift he would never forget!

Cycles Trying: BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): This is #6! we’ve been BDing EOD since CD10 And have had really good timing so far. Continuing acupuncture for the 3rd month going once a week, OPKs, prenatals, and just started charting but I have no idea what I’m doing lol.
Link to Chart, if any: I can’t figure out how to link my chart. Oh well my screen ne is the same If you want to find me.
What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? I am going to start planning our 1 yr anniversary trip to Aruba in may! Yay! I’d want nothing more than to rock a baby bump on the beach!!!! Fingers crossed. And I’m also trying to get back Into the gym like I was pre wedding to keep my mind off of TTC.

And for fun:

What’s your favourite movie, and why? im not a huge movie lover but I used to love Clueless back on the day

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD15/2DPO

Ovulation Date: 3/17, per FF after getting + on 3/16

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: There has been no usual since TTC, but generally 24-27 with a 30 thrown in the bunch. So AF is theoretically due 4/2. But I rarely get to POAS since I wait for AF. So POAS date is 4/4.
Cycles Trying: #6 πŸ™

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): I used OPKs for the first time this cycle. DH is getting a sperm analysis. He should be calling the doc today to find out what he needs to do and who he needs to see.

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? This past weekend we were in NY. DH said it was the best NY weekend ever and it was pretty awesome.
But we are working on planning our California trip in May. We are definately going to LA. Now we have to decide if we are going to San Fran or Denver as well.

And for fun:
What’s your favourite movie, and why?
I love the Secret Garden (Hallmark Hall of Fame version). I don’t know why I love this movie so much. Something about it got to me when I saw it as a kid.
I must have seen it a million times, along with Annie.
I don’t know if I could pick one adult favorite movie, there are so many.

ShellVee: ha ha! That’s a good plan! There’s no way AF will have arrived at that point so I won’t be out yet. I’ll either up the percentages (though you shouldn’t rely on me: if only I was one of those ladies to look sideways a DH and bam!!!) or rolldown. I’ve a wedding on the 4th (it’ll be hard to hide not drinking) and hols planned for mid April so either way I’ll be happy (who am I kidding: I want my bfp!!!!)

ShellVee: Sorry I’m missing a load of comments because of the new blo&@y site.. Agh!!!

I’m heartless too.. Nothing gets me going!! Except this! Though, be warned. It is in Italian so it’s not a relaxing watch. It’s set in WW2 but is quite lighthearted at times.

So. Vitex. Anyone?

I’m still a depressive mess today. I’m reading up on supplements to help with infertility/endo (nice to discover that half of women with endo are infact infertile.. that really makes me jump for joy hearing that stat!) and I’m now about to buy me some Vitex……. anyone taking it??

Stupid incapable body….. ARGH.

I’m not ready to roll call yet since I am not sure when I am going to O. Hopefully around CD23 like last cycle – which would make my POAS date April 5th.

bearsreddy: I on my second cycle drinking Fertilitea that has vitex in it. It did cause me to have brownish/ light pink spotting mid cycle and a period that had a sporadic flow (when from being heavy to light to medium all day). But it did shorten my cycle by about 10 days. My cycles were 45, 47, and 45 days – and my first cycle drinking Fertilitea it was only 35 days πŸ™‚

bearsreddy: Sorry, I think I missed a post of yours on the March thread. I’m missing lots because of the changeover. I’m sorry youre feeling crappy. Look after yourself and maybe try something relaxing this month. I love my acupuncture but different things suit different people. Think I may get a massage too. Don’t worry about that title ‘infertility’. It doesn’t mean that those people can’t have babies. Technically I’d be covered under that as it means trying for one year, unsuccessfully. But I’m 99% sure I’ll have my baby! And since you got pregnant before, I reckon you will too πŸ˜€ Bloody AF kicks our asses. I’m all positive because I’m mid cycle!! Can you tell me anything about vitex?

phoebephoebo: Thanks loves. Generally my cycle is fine… but I do spot towards the end of it which tends to start from about 7-10 DPO (which am I right in reading somewhere along the way isn’t a great sign???) And as I have endo (and a cervical ectropian which is also as a result of higher levels of oestrogen…just like endo), I figured Vitex can’t hurt to try and level out my hormones… (if they need levelling out.) Heck, I’m willing to try anything right now (I’m a depressive cow at the best of times so feeling like a complete failure isn’t helping my miserble stance!!!)

The pregnancy/miscarriage happened before I had this endometrioma beast attached to my ovary like some kind of magnet…….so it could have been that it wasn’t too bad or even there until then.

How is it drinking it in a tea thingy

MrsBaldEagle: ? I read it’s quite bitter tasting?

I may consider the acupuncture route one day (depends on the costs though)…

phoebephoebo: Do you have any known issues?? (Sorry, you may have said elsewhere.. i too can’t get to grips with the new site!!) It may be worth reading up on Vitex… it’s meant to helpful for all kinds of gynae problems… πŸ™‚

This Friday, I’m going in for my first Sonohysterogram (SHG), which is differnt from Hysterosalpingogram(HSG). I belive with SHG, saline solution is used to take a detailed look at the uterus. HSG uses a dye to view the uterus and falliopian tubes, and blow out any blockage in the tubes. Not sure why my Dr ordered the SHG vs. HSG, but kinda nervous to learn what’s all going on. Anyone have a SHG done?

bearsreddy: For some reason its described as minty – but I don’t think it tastes minty. It is kind of bitter – but I always put honey in or sugar to sweeten it up a little. It is loose leaf – and the strainer I have wasnt fine enough so now I use a coffee filter and it works great. For me, I feel like drinking it makes it absorb better. It is probably 100% wrong – but it makes me feel better…and right now I will take anything that makes me feel better and not like a complete failure.

MrsBaldEagle: How many cups do you drink a day? Simliar to you, my cycle has been ranging 34-35 days since I started taking Fertilitea (down from 45-60). I seep my morning cup for 5 mins and then at lunch I use the same morning leaves to make another cup. Then at night, I brew a new cup.

Ovulation Date: CD 19-21

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Usually Cycle Length: 30-33 days so POAS about April 18

Cycles Trying: 10. Had a chemical pregnancy cycle 5, so maybe I’ll have another BFP cycle 10!

Link to Chart, if any: My Chart

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? Drink Wine! I just ordered a case after I got AF earlier this week.

What’s your favourite movie, and why? Pride & Prejudice – the BBC version πŸ™‚ Its 5+ hours long, but I love it.

bearsreddy: I started Femaprin (which I’m pretty sure is vitex?) last cycle. I didn’t notice that much of a difference last cycle, but I’m continuing it this cycle. I usually spot from 7dpo – 12 dpo (when i get my period). I’ve been a mess (acne, emotional, depressed) since I got off birth control 10 months ago. I’ve started acupuncture and the vitex, and my acupuncturist recommended coconut oil and yoga to help even out my hormones. I feel slightly better this month than last month, but I’m not sure if anything is working yet! FX for you!

bearsreddy: Sure I’m the same! No know issues except for the fact that I’ve been TTC over a year! Both of the acupuncturists Ive been to suggested endo based on how I described my cycles but my OBGYN doesn’t seem concerned and she’s a fertility expert. I’ll let her decide what to do next.

I’d definitely say try sonething to lengthen LP and stop the spotting. I think B complex helps? Sorry I can’t be of more help, haven’t really looked that up..
