I’ve been hesitant to join these boards, thinking it would make me even more fixated on this stuff…but since I’ve already been stalking them anyway, what the heck…

Current cycle day/DPO: CD 23/6 DPO

Ovulation date: 3/17 (CD 17) —hoping the luck of the Irish is with me this month! ๐Ÿ™‚

POAS Date/Usual cycle length: well last month was not a regular cycle for me, so now I’m a bit confused…I’m going to say a POAS date of 4/1 (CD 32), but AF might not arrive until somewhere between the 1st and the 4th.

Cycles trying: 3

BFP Plan: I’ve been taking prenatals, and just trying to chill out. Started temping this month. Tried to BD everyday in the fertile window–that was guesswork to some extent since my cycle wasn’t regular and this is my first month temping, but we BD’d O-2, O-1, O, & O+1.

What are you going to do to enjoy this month: Hopefully closing on our house!

Favorite movie: I have a ton–but my favorite is probably It’s a Wonderful Life…very nostalgic for me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Got a positive this morning on my OPK kit, so O date is the same as last month then. So we have had really good timing! We hit 0-4, 0-3, 0-2, 0-1, and we’ll BD for O tomorrow. I will miss 0+1 due to work, but cant help that. Fingers crossed!

Roll call!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 1

Ovulation Date: Probably April 7th

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: April 21st

Cycles Trying: BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Taking prenatals and vitamin D.  Drinking green tea before O and just bought some red raspberry leaf tea.  Going to try to BD EOD, then ED once I get a peak OPK.

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? I have no clue.  This is our 2nd cycle TTC and this is the only thing on my mind.  Not healthy, I know.  I am looking forward to it feeling more like spring and going places where we can actually enjoy the nice weather.

And for fun:

What’s your favourite movie, and why? I feel like I don’t have a favorite because I like so many. But being that I saw some people mention Life is Beautiful, I have to say I also love the Tiger and the Snow, another film by Roberto Benigni.  The opening scene with Tom Waits singing always makes me tear up.  I always wanted that song played when I walked down the aisle, but ended up picking something else.  Oh well!

April2013Girl:  I’m with you, on cycle 6 too. Every cycle I come up with a different pattern. We’ve never had bad timing but still not pg. It makes me sad and it is starting to get to DH too. He is getting SA this month to start figuring where the problems lies. It is very stressful. But fx this is our month.

Hi, everyone! This is our first cycle TTC, too.  Just a little background… we just got married this past October.  Five years ago (when I was 28) I was diagnosed with high FSH… which, if you’ve ever been on the infertility boards, is often a doom-and-gloom diagnosis :/, so we’re not sure how easy TTC is going to be.  I figured it’d probably be a good idea to join a supportive group.

I wasn’t going to roll-call this month b/c I thought I’d be ovulating smack in the middle of my husband’s business trip this week, but we managed to BD right before he left today and shockingly I just got a blaring positive on an opk (and confirmed smiley on digital), so it may have been ok timing?

Anyway…

roll call!

Current cycle day/DPO: CD10

Ovulation date: probably March 24-25

POAS date/cycle length: will try to hold out until April 5/ usual cycle length is anywhere from 26-33 days

Cycles trying: our first!

BFP plan: prenatals, fish oil, BD timing, preseed

Link to chart: haven’t started doing this yet

What are you going to do to ENJOY this month aside from TTC? We have been working on decorating/fixing up our new house, which has been so much fun.

And for fun: I love a good action/thriller, but not sure if I have a favorite.

Hey, bees!

For BD timing with someone who isnt sure when they O, would you recommend BD-ing every day from when AF leaves until I get a positive OPK (I got some at the dollar store) or BD every day from around CD10 to CD 20? I know thats a lot of BD but, I just dont know my cycle without BCP. I was only on it for five months and was really regular before then (tho I never kept track.) My sister and I have nearly identical cycles and she keeps track, so I am thinking I have a similar 30 Day cycle.

As exciting as this all is, I just read a study that said women who

stupid new format….   anyway, i read this study about women with fertility complications were divided into two groups. one group underwent a 10 week relaxation program while the other group didnt. of the group that went through the therapy, 55% of the women were pregnant within a year vs 20% of the control group. food for thought…its really hard trying to balance excitment, trying to be in control and informed without being obsessed. maybe i should get back into yoga this month…

luckylady3090:  I’d say try every other day until you get a positive opk and then every day. Google Sperm Meets Egg Plan (SMEP). This is what I tried this month.

That study is really interesting. I think that’s a huge part of the reason I’m not pregnant yet!

luckylady3090:  I’m going to struggle then seeing as I always seem to be stressed out about something or other!!! Eeeeek!

So Vitex. Killer-headaches-from-hell inducer rather than baby maker. Both days I took it, I had a full on migraine within about an hour of taking it. Yesterday i didnt take one and guess what? no headache! I am thinking it could be a huge coincidence but I have read it can produce killer headaches. I suffer with them at the best of times without having something like that give me a full on migraine. So, I’m holding off it for a while… perhaps I’ll wait until next cycel and try it again.

And we tried the Preseed type stuff and DH found it hard to have a happy ending. Well, he didn’t first go. (lack of sensation or something…sorry for the TMI!!!) So that’s just wonderful too! Not.

On a plus side I did get a medium spring up this morning on my CBFM. (I’m worried I won’t ovulate this month due to ovulating on the right side last month (confirmed by US) and having a nice big blood filled cyst/endometrioma on the left side)……. But it could mean nothing still… I guess (??) I can produce all the hormones in the world and still not have an egg fly out of me due to endometriosis putting a road block in the way…..

Sunday was such an off day for me.  I blame it on the lack of sleep (only 2-3 hours).  I had cramps all day sunday which was CD19.  I originally thought I O’ed around CD 18/19.  But this month after using OPKs, I found I O around CD13.  Going back through my notes, I find that I probably O’d CD13 other cycles and just assumed it was too early before.  But matching it to BD we never had bad timing either way.

So since I’ve probably O’ed around CD13 and get cramps around CD18 I am assuming that is not related to implantation at all since I am still not pregnant.

Anyway, my real question is:

DH has an SA on 3/31.  It’s the only appointment he could get that matched his schedule.  Techincally AF is due on 4/2.  Last cyle was only 27 and I started spotting on CD23.  I’m so afriad AF is going to show up early again.  If DH ends up being the problem, then I guess timing doesn’t matter.  But if he checks out clear and it seems I am the problem, will it be too late at that point to figure out something for my next cycle with my gyn?

I will cross post this on 6+ month thread if I can find it.  I didn’t see it on the first 2 pages.

bearsreddy:  I’m sorry about the headaches! I wanted to comment about the preseed. Are you using it as directed? I had read that if you use as much as they suggest, that it can be too slippery. We used it too and just used it like we would use KY. That might help! That stuff is weird though, in general. Its oddly goopy!
