@bananasareyellow:  OMG so jealous… Sometimes it’s the little things. Where my husband works he doesn’t have cell service as it’s soooo far up north they just have satelite phones for emergencies. He has Internet access so we can imessage each other we whatever it’s called on the iPhone & sometimes if we’re lucky the Internet is quick enough to FaceTime but tht doesn’t happen very often.

@bananasareyellow:  I have to share my sneaky gift. dh is a giant Volkswagen fan… We’ve only owned VW and he knows more about the company than most people. well we bought a new vehicle a while back. VW main office in Germany sent him this beautiful stainless box in the mail with a congrats & some stuff in it. ….

well I stole the wrapping paper before he could toss it (/super cool with the VW postage & German writing. Then I stole the stainless box… Mwhahaha i put a baby onesie I bought custom it has a red heart & a Volkswagen logo on it. & a small book about becoming a dad. I carefully wrapped it back up in the original paper.

My plan is to tell him something came in the mail & then give him my decoy mail… πŸ™‚ OMG I just dream of that moment when he opens it, is confused then the lightbulb goes on. It’s perfect for him. πŸ™‚ bah… Makes me emmotional thinking of that moment. sniff sniff-

@MrsHoneyC:  Aww, that’s an awesome and really sweet plan.  I haven’t figured how I will one day tell Fiance about the pregnancy-I might steal your idea since he’s really into BMW motorcycles.  OR I might just find out and yell it at him while he’s sleeping!

Also bought (2) 3 pack of FRER ($2 off coupon on line, $1 off coupon on the box and it was less than $14= $11 for 3 at Walmart) totally testing every AM this week and another BFN today.  Longest cycle ever!!!

Cycle Day:

36

Ovulation Day:

24

DPO:

12

@As_You_Wish:  I’m so sorry to hear about the MC.  Wishing you lots of luck this cycle for a sticky one.

@ShellVee:  Good luck this month.  DH and I are very new to TTC and also realized the timing could be right at Christmas, or even the busiest month of the year for us.  But we’d take it as well.  There are so many people who have trouble trying that we’d sincerely be lucky to have a Xmas baby. πŸ™‚

@MrsHoneyC:  Soooooo funny you ask that question, as I sit here right after BDing (sorry, TMI?) with my booty propped on a pillow after reading that here yesterday! LOL.  I’m supposed to get my AF anyday, but I told DH, couldn’t hurt trying!

Ladies, I do have a question that’s been eating at me, but didn’t want to ask b/c I’m embarrassed of my…ignorance?  Anyway, did anyone with normal cycles/ovulation not ovulate their first month TTC or NTNP?

I normally have the most obvious ovulation days.  I haven’t been on the pill for, like, 8 years (been using VCF strips).  But I never kept track of when my ovulation was in relation to my period b/c I guess I never was TTC and I didn’t  realize how important those days are.  But I swear, this month it seemed like I didn’t ovulate?  I didn’t take any tests or the like b/c *technically* this was our first month and we were trying to just “see what happens.”  But of course I noticed that I didn’t have my obvious ovulation like normal.  What the heck!?

@aliciapdx:  thanks ladies, it was nice to plan for the possibility of a BFP these days i am feeling like it might never happen, ugh…. Trying so hard not to be in a negative head space. And I know this is only round two for Us. But my doctors words keep running through my mind. But tomorrow I start using OPK so that will be a proactive new thing to work toward our BFP

I’m glad to be back ladies even if its a bit terrifying. My MC cycle was very normal and I even O’d a day earlier than normal so I am lucky. After 2 back to back MC’s I’m not nearly as starry eyed as I was when we began this process in November, but we’re committed to keep on trying as long as it takes. I’ve been given a clean bill of health so I really hope this means we get to keep our next BFP! Docs haven’t recommended progesterone supps or aspirin in my case so the only change I’ll be making is getting betas done and opting for an early US. I’m meeting with my OB next Wednesday to discuss the exact approach we’ll be taking.

I’m ready to do a roll call!

Roll Call!!

Current Cycle Day: CD1

Ovulation Date: EOD 4/7 (CD14)

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: 4/21, 27-28 days

Cycles trying: 3

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc): I subscribed to FF VIP 30 days this morning, using OPKs from CD 10 – 17, laying down for half an hour afterwards

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?: A vet or a movie director were the two memorable ones – but my real flair seems to be in business (as an entrepreneur) and property investing. DH and I are pursuing both but they’re in the pipeline while we’re building up some security and expanding our family!

@As_You_Wish:  I was so sorry to read about your MC. FWIW your usual doctor sounds like a dick and I hope you’re able to find a more supportive one. I travel an hour to see mine – whenever I try to find a new one closer to home they end up being awful/incompetant/disinterested/all of the above. I really hope this is your sticky BFP cycle x
