@MrsHoneyC:  I find the OPK’s are the best.  It’s so much easier for me to decipher than CM and CP.  It makes it much easier to time Bridesmaid or Best Man and is easier to read than I though it would be.

I am offically out, after buying 6 FRER yesterday I just got AF.  It’s fine, we were NTNP but since this the Fiance is all gung ho about being pregnant and was excited by the possibility so guess we are TTC’ing for real (being honest with ourselves) now.  At least I have all the tests ready to go.  My bathroom sink is full of vitamins, a cup I piss in, OPK’s, Wondflo tests, FRERs and an excel spreadsheet I tape my OPK on and mark to remind myself to take the supplements.  I need some kind of dorm bathroom caddy to keep this all organized- no joke!

Also bit of humor:  Last night the Fiance figured out he has a UTI and we went to the store to get some Azo tabs- the packet came with a uti tester stick.  He was quick to ask me how to do it and then said, “You know what the say, the couple that pisses on sticks together, stays together!”

@esqbee:  I injured both my ankles too.  Well, hello fellow dancer ;))) I cannot longer use my pointe shoes at all, which is soo sad, but I do dance here and there just wearing ballet sleepers.

@Mrs. Doily:  I know how you feel, it sure sucks, darling, but lets just hand in there …the waiting game sure kills me every cycle, too. xox

@MadTownGirl:  Thanks, I am not kidding on that idea.  It’s crowding the countertop and today Fiance asked why there was piss in a cup.

@bananasareyellow:  I can e-mail mine to you…it’s a simple excel sheet w/ room to tape the sticks, it’s taped to my mirror and a place to check for each vitamin.  The control makes me think that I have some control over my body.  I keep thinking it’s all a game of math here!

@aliciapdx:  LOL OMG so funny that’s how I feel my bathroom is, we should take photos of our ridiculous TTC bathrooms. πŸ™‚

EDIT – I should also mention I am happy that I got the digital OPK because I feel like seeing a bunch of ‘no’ s pop up day after day will make me less depressed the next time I see a ‘not pregnant’ on a pregnancy test. πŸ™‚ and obviously an OPK is not a pregnancy test but i thimk it will be helpful to me.

@MadTownGirl:  I didn’t O my first cycle TTC either, but that was because of over seas travel and I never O when I am crossing a ton of time zones.

Now that you are looking for O, you may find it to be a little more elusive. If you are just looking for the cramping or other secondary signs, they may not be consistent for every cycle.  I charted for 6 months prior to TTC (I had the paraguard) and was able to identify O by my temps. Now that we are TTC and it matters when I O, I obsess about it a little too much and second guess myself so I now use OPKs.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

@Birdee106:  bhahahahahahahahah that might have been my favourite thing I will read on the bee ALL day! Camping barbie. Awesome! on a more serious note since you’ve been trying for 24 months have you been able to get a dr. To do some tests & see what’s going on? (if I am being too nosey you don’t have to answer)

@MrsHoneyC:  Not a problem, I don’t mind! And yes, my mom always loves telling the story of me being a little girl and begging to be camping barbie. I had dreams!

We stopped trying for seven months before our wedding date. That would have been March of last year so in January I had blood work done to see if I was ovulating and they said I was and everythign looked normal. My husband did a SA and he was great as well. It’s been five months since the wedding and I wanted to get going on tests again so we did the HSG on the 13th and I have an appt. with my doctor next month to talk about starting Clomid. I’m really hoping and praying that this is the month and we don’t have to deal with meds.

@KH:  Thanks for the info.  That makes sense that now that I’m looking, it’s harder to tell.  Really, I just need to take a chill pill b/c I didn’t want to make myself stressed about TTC the FIRST month, but sadly not being able to tell the O day has made me a little nervous, baffled and crazy.  What a great combo! πŸ˜‰
