@MissCurlyQ:  It isn’t that bad. Some people are very good about it and set their alarm, etc. I’m a little more lax and just temp with a thermometer I got from Walmart (as long as it has the decimal point to at least the 10th degree, I was happy), usually popping it in my mouth as I’m walking to the bathroom. I get a little more rigid when I’m getting close to AF and I’m more anxious about it.

@MrsR4ever:  Thanks for checking in! I’ve been getting BFNs, along with some cramps, very light spotting, nausea (which isn’t uncommon for me) and sleeping disturbances that have prevented me from getting good BBT. I’m 11 or 12 DPO and only feel PMS symptoms. I’m trying to just accept that I’m out for this month so when AF does come, I’m not so disappointed (ie. crying in the bathroom at work), and I want to avoid the emotional roller coaster of “I have cramps and spotting, but I’m late maybe it’s implantation…” which is just more than I want to handle now.

@smcopp89:  I completely understand, I would rather be pleasantly surprised, than sadly disappointed, too.

@BRbee:  Welcome! Your plan to tell Darling Husband sounds adorable!

@MrsHoneyC:  Its possible one was an estrogen fall back and the other was the implantation dip.

I’ve been lurking around on this board for a while.  I was embarassed about not being able to conceive, because I feel like no one talks about how hard it is.  It’s so refreshing to have this site and women like you that are positive through it all.

Current Cycle Day: 22

Ovulation Date: 9th or 10th

POAS date/Usual Cycle Length: April 22/28 days

Cycles trying: 10

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc): We try to do it every other day, but closer to ovulation as much as possible.  We BD on 4, 8, 9, 11, and 14.  I’ve been on Clomid 100mg since FEbruary, and the past 2 months have gotten Ovidrel shots.  I had an ultrasound on the 9th and had “3 really good eggs” and my lining was thick as well.  I had some pretty painful cramping on the 10th, but we didn’t BD that day.  I’m hoping the sperm were still alive from BDing on the 8th and 9th.

Link to Chart, if any: I do temp, but not at the same time every day – and sometimes after I hit snooze so I’m not sure it’s very accurate.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?: A Fly Girl on In Living Color or a Laker Girl.  I have a love for dancing! ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m officially a rollover. Just made an appointment with my primary doctor on Friday for my husband and I. Are there any specific questions I should ask or tests I should ask about? I have regular cycles with ovulation shown by temps. Just don’t know why two 26 year olds haven’t conceived after a year!

Hi ladies,

No news/update for me (I have no idea what’s going on in this body), but wanted to give a congratulations shout out to those with the BFPs!  There’s quite a few since I visited last!  I’m going to just have to keep BDing and test at the end of the month around when AF is predicted (around the 26th).

Good luck to those still in this month.

@MrsHoneyC:  Tots. The last several months I’ve had a giant dip at 5dpo and obviously I’m not KU but to not get a climb for two days looks a bit suspicious. I’m crossing everything over here for ya!

@bananasareyellow:  I had labwork done at my physical last year. Thyroid is fine and nothing suggesting PCOS, all the hormones were perfect! So, I assume I will get more labwork done and a SA for Darling Husband, possibly a HSG. That is the extent of my knowledge! I will definitely bring in my three charts…I am kicking myself in the butt that I wasn’t charting the whole time! I have regular cycles from 28-33 days so I ASSUME that I was ovulating the whole time but you know what they say when you assume……..Thanks for the positive thoughts!

@LuckoftheIrish12:  Welcome! This month sounds promising for you. I agree that no one talks about it. I have no problem talking to these lovely, smart strangers on the internet about anything TTC related, but my friends, family, mom…it is awkward. I just opened up to my sister about it, she was very comforting and said a close friend of hers took 18 months of trying and testing with no luck, she went to a herbalist in Chinatown (Chicago) and was pregnant the next month. When this woman was trying for her second, after several unsucessful months she went back to the herbalist and was pregnant the next month. Not sure if I believe it could happen that fast with just herbs, but may still try it out I don’t get a BFP this month. Send me a message if you want the herbalist’s (who is a MD) name.

@bananasareyellow:  Thank you for moving my POAS date, you are so on top of things!

@NoMoreStew:  Good luck on Friday. I agree to bring your charts, your questions written down and some paper to take notes on.
