Anyone planning to have babies right after the wedding? We just got married on April 28, 2012 and we’re starting to talk about kids. It’s kind of exciting and scary. I was wondering how long is everyone planning to wait to have kids after the wedding?

Hi!! I got married a month before you and got pregnant on our honeymoon. I’m due in Dec!! So you will not be the only one not waiting long. Good luck!

We got married April 7th too. We didn’t get pregnant on our honeymoon, but I got my positive pregnancy test on Mothers’ Day (3/14).

We are getting married in November and we won’t be trying either way. Lol I’ll probably get pregnant on day 1!

I stopped BCP the day after our wedding reception. (We had a destination wedding, so the reception was a month afterwards.)
We used a backup method the first month because I wanted to wait until I had a period before we started “trying”. Took us a couple months to get pregnant.
This was what our timeline ended up being:
June – wedding
July – wedding reception & stopped BCP
August – first period after BCP
December – BFP (concieved in November)

We stopped using condoms once we got married in March of this year, and I wasn’t on bc previously. Currently, we would like to be married a year, and then NTNT from there I think. We don’t want to plan it out, and would prefer for it to happen when it happens. But, we do want our finances more in line though!
