I love them both but that Auquamarine ring is fabulous! I would quit looking and make that my ring today!

Ohhhh! That’s a big difference but it’s a beautiful ring and one that you will wear forever….so hopefully he will not mind! Heaven :

Heaven :  Maybe consider a Chevron band, or one of those open bands and solder it later? Either way, I prefer the aquamarine. It’s beautiful!

I think the quartz would look spectacular in a yellow gold setting with no halo unless it’s more gold. The black spinels are dragging it down. I have one, and will post a picture in a short while – have to walk my dogs before  the rain hits.

The aquamarine one for sure. I get engagement ring vibes from that one vs cocktail/statement ring from the quartz

Heaven :  you could always get a custom made ring with a similar setting to the aqua but with a quartz stone!. So I originally wanted a pink sapphire (after ruling out amethyst), then a purple sapphire, then a Montana sapphire, then thought I wanted a moissanite solitaire, but throughout the whole process I kept thinking about the pink sapphire. So after months of changing my mind, I decided my first choice was the one I truly wanted. We had one custom made so I never got to try it on or see it beforehand, but when I finally got it I was so happy. In my situation, my first gut instinct was the one that made the final cut.
