I don’t have an aquamarine e-ring (I have a pearl), but my Mother does. It’s a gorgeous stone.
Just a word of caution, it’s a high maintenance stone. Be careful with it, chlorine can ruin it. My mom’s became very cloudy after a trip to cabo in the surf, the sun and the pool.

Thank you! I will definately try that sometime this weekend since Mr. is going to be out of town on a boys weekend… well, really just a boys Sunday, but whatever haha.
Thank you for the advice! I didn’t take it off washing my hands the first few days I had it and now I really regret it. I’m terrified something is going to happen to it! 🙁

Those are beautiful! I used to design jewelry and loved using aquamarine. It’s a great gemstone featuring some good properties for wedding planning:
Aquamarine: Courage, purification, peace, intuition, self-expression, balance, preparedness.
Also, you’ve got a built-in something blue!

I was definately excited about the built-in something blue factor! Since it’s my promise ring, and not my engagement ring, I will definately be sporting it on my right hand the day of the wedding. Although I am sure I’ll do another "something blue" because I have a couple ideas already haha 🙂 & I love what it stand for!

Yeah everyone looks at my ring like it is such a unique idea. The thing I love about it too is that it is subtley blue. So at first glance it just looks like a diamond ring.

I love that about it too 🙂

I have a heart shaped aquamarine ring as my promise ring, it has too little diamonds on the sides, but you probably wont be able to see them. He got it for me because it is my birthstone. Its a small stone, i really dont know the size, but i love it, its so cute 🙂 Im going to try to upload the pic..it doesnt look so shiny now because i think its a little dirty since i havent cleaned it in while.. oops .. 🙂
oh, and i LOVE your ring!

I LOVE aquamarine too! I collect gemstones and this is one of my favorites – I always wished it was my birthstone too. A few years ago, Darling Husband got me an aquamarine and diamond ring set in white gold very similar to yours *Cereza*, but probably a bit smaller. I get SOO many compliments on it all the time. 🙂 I always thought it would make a beautiful E-ring!

My blue aquamarine engagement ring. I’ve been experimenting with my DSLR and I think this shot turned out pretty cool!

Look at the non-diamond engagement ring post. There are a lot of us that have posted our Aqua rings on there. Mine is a 2 ct square center stone surrounded by 42 round diamonds which equal .5 ct. Set in platinum. I love my ring. It is our birthstones and we met on his 29th birthday.
