Hi! Just purchased 10,000 silk rose petals for our wedding. I’m wondering if any bees out there have had an aisle like the one pictured and how many petals you used? I’d also like to have enough for the guests to throw petals as we walk back down the aisle. Any advice would help!

I can’t be much help with your question, but just wanted to pass along a tip: rose petals can be slippery. I was a bridesmaid in my sister’s wedding, and her wedding video memorializes the moment I almost ate it while walking down the aisle due to her rose petals. Just an FYI since it looks like you’d be walking directly on the petals….

Back when I thought I might have rose petals for the aisle I found this online calculator.
ETA – for a 50ft long aisle and a 3ft wide aisle, you’d need 15,000 – 30,000 petals to achieve a more dense look.

How do you make sure they don’t get blown away by the wind, besides sticking it to tulle?
