(Closed) Are 30″ tables wide enough?

If you picture that a typical dinner plate is 9-10″ in diameter and they’ll be at least an inch from the edge, then that only leaves you about 8″ of white space between the tops of plates for your centerpiece.  That’s pretty small.

i think you’d need at least 60″ wide, 30 is a little to cosy if you can’t find them push to of them together

We are also doing 8′ by 30″.  If you are creative (read: small) with your centerpieces, it will work fine.  You can try a mock-up on your kitchen table using plates and glassware to get a feel for it.
