Hello fellow bees!
I have decided that I really want to go with this ring from a local jeweler… see below my ering pic. It is .50 ctw and so that would be about .07 cts per diamond since there are 7. I definitely want to have one band on either side of my ering (so two wedding bands)- do you think this particular ring is too big/much? If anyone has pictures that I could relate to PLEASE share!!!
my ering is 1.32 carats and is a solitaire, cathedral setting:

A little big and blingy for me, but if that’s what you like then go for it! I really like the double wedding band look. It looks so much more balanced to me.

Haha I thought you were asking if a 7.07 carat stone would be too big. And I was like YES.

@moonadea: lol i thought the same thing.
I think its a lot of bling. one band will look great, but I dont know about two.

I think that is a great size to balance out your ring!

I think it will look great! And yes, I was expecting to see a 7.07ct diamond too! lol Such a tease! j/k!

I think it will be too much with two bands of that size, one band on the other hand I think would look lovely. If you want two bands, I would go with 3 pointer eternities (or semi eternities). 🙂

I think it’s beautiful. My wedding band (that matches my e-ring) has 8 round stones each is .1 total carat weight of just my band is .80. My e-ring also has the same stones but only 6 of them. It is a bit on the blingy side but I love it. You can see it from across the room 🙂
So whether you get 1 band or 2, I think it will look great.

I think two bands would look great! The center stone on my e-ring is a round 1.21 ct diamond with .37 ct of diamonds on the sides. I have .5 ct diamond wedding bands on either side of my e-ring and I love it! I wish the pics came out better.

I have a similar engagement ring and 2 identical wedding bands (one on either side). The bands you have selected might be a little big when you combine all 3. I opted for half-eternity micro-pave bands because the lower profile fits under my engagement ring perfectly. I recommend trying 3 rings on together to get a feel for how wide they are and how much finger coverage you get.

I too thought you were talking about a 7.07 center stone. I opened the thread to see what such a stone would look like!!
I think 7.07 tw is fine with the e-ring and wedding band. It isn’t too much. It will look just perfect!

I think 2 bands would be too much and might swallow your center stone up. I would stick with just 1.

I don’t think it’s too much, actually I think it will be just lovely. 🙂
