Yea, it’s annoying. I don’t know why it does it but I’ve definitely noticed it, too. Still wouldn’t trade my iPad or iPhone for any alternative, though.

… you can’t just correct a word in the middle?

I noticed it too but I think the most annoying for me is not being able to use or download flash. My wedding website’s life is off flash and can’t even see it on my iPad. 🙁

@DeathByDesign:  You can.

OP: If you’re having an issue editing your text in your post (like if you don’t have a curser, which is pretty common), you can minimize the keyboard, “click” in the text box again and you should be able to edit. If it doesn’t work the first time, try it a few more times. Posting on the iPad was much more of a pain in the ass before I figured out the tricks.

@UpstateCait:  I didn’t realize you could post on the iPad! I am totally going to have to try this in a little while.

I’m just bummed because I have a feeling that Mac is going to release the iPad 3 shortly. I am really happy with my iPad, though.

@keepsmiling19:  Yep, it’s being announced on March 7th and may be available for purchase then, too. We’ll be buying it since Darling Husband has to have all of the newest stuff. He’s an iPhone/iPad developer. 🙂

@keepsmiling19:  And yea, posting on the iPad takes some getting used to since there is the autocorrect issue. As long as you proofread your posts, you’ll be fine. You can’t post pictures or anything though. Just basic text posting as of now.

@UpstateCait:  Awesome! Very good reasons to stay current on them :-). I knew it would happen around this time…they announced the iPad 2 on March 2nd last year. I waited in line at the Apple Store later that month and happened to be there the day they received a huge shipment. The only way I would be really bummed is if it had Flash on it. I love my iPad. It’s one of my best investments ever!

@keepsmiling19:  It won’t have flash. According to Darling Husband, flash is discontinued on mobile so even new android devices won’t have it.

And I agree, the iPad is like the best thing ever.

@UpstateCait:  Flash isn’t “discontinued” and I’m sure android devices will likely still support it for some time. It is getting to be an old technology… but it will take a while to phase out, unfortunately.

@DeathByDesign:  According to a number of news articles straight from Adobe, it’s being discontinued on mobile devices.
