I wore heels and they were comfy. I broke them in for a few weeks before my wedding.

I wore 3 inch wedges for my wedding and they were OK but it was probably my fault for not breaking them in more than I did and I would say generally size up 1/2 size in their shoes. They didn’t have padding in the footbed so again I would size up and add pads to where the balls of your feet are. Beautiful shoes though!

I had an outdoor vineyard wedding (we were basically on golf course style grass all night), and I wore Badgley Mischka peep toe wedges. When I first tried them on, I was worried they would hurt the front of my feet and my toes where it rubs, but on the day of, it wasn’t even a thought in my head. They felt very stable in the grass and my feet didn’t hurt at all. For what it’s worth, I think the criss cross straps across the feet helps with the stability a lot vs. just having one strap around the ankle. I would definitely recommend.

OP, these shoes are quite comfy. My wedding isnt here yet but I’ve been wearing the shoes around the house this last few weeks trying to break in them. But I have the wedges. So I cant say about their high heels. From what I understand you want to wear BM heels for pics and then change to flats or wedges right?

kaylilly27 :  we’re totally shoes twin!

karapp :  That’s awesome! I hope you love them as much as I did. I had originally wanted heels because it felt more bridal to me, but I was so thrilled with how these turned out, and they looked gorgeous in pictures. Here’s one of mine — the little anklet I had was my something blue 🙂

I have some Badgley Mischka pumps which I ordered for my wedding in September. When I first tried them on they felt a little tight and uncomfortable so I wore them around the house quite a bit and even put some socks on and blew a hair drier on them while wearing the socks which made a huge difference and basically molded them to my feet! They are super comfy now and I have no worries about wearing them for my wedding day. I will have back up flats for dancing though just in case!

At the salon I tried on a pair that went perfectly with my dress and decided to order them.  They were heels but were chunky.  Unfortunately, when the salon went to place the order they no longer carried that design.  The salon sent me a picture of a similar show but they are 4 inch heels.  The heel design is the same but I rarely wear heels and when I do it is usually 3 to 3.5 inches.  I was leery to place the order of a shoe I hadn’t seen in person but I did because Badgley Mischka shoes are gorgeous.

I am hoping they are comfy and I can get my feet to adjust to the height.  As a backup, however, I bought a pair of Angela Nuran shoes which while, not as “blingy” as the Mischka, are very pretty and quite comfortable.

genabee :  well I bought BM wedges. They were as comfortable as any shoes that aren’t broken in – meaning I wore them just fine for about 7 hours, and then I had about 7 blisters on my feet 😂

kaylilly27 :  are you serious? My something blue is also an anklet! I have the same worry that the shoes are “less bridal” and considering BM high heels. But I keep this pair because it’s so pretty. Your pic is so pretty!

I wore these BM for my ceremony and a couple of hours walking around the city taking pictures.  I did break them in a bit beforehand, and they weren’t too bad for a 4″ heel.  I’m not sure if I could have worn them for the reception/dancing on top of that.  I wore different dresses for ceremony and reception so wore different heels for each.

Something to think about, wearing wedges on grass or softer surfaces will be a lot easier on your feet than say walking/standing on concrete in any heel.  I would definitely go for wedges if you’re going to be on grass.

I think they tend to have tight toe boxes and should be broken in ahead of time. It really depends on the pair, though.

NO!  I wore them for the pics and first dance and then I changed my shoes under the dinner table.  They were torturous.

I wore these — picked them because they had the “look” I wanted and a lower heel, so I thought they would be comfortable.  WRONG!  Worst shoes I’ve ever worn – and I wear heels to work every day!
