Teal is tacky with these wedding colors. Go with a silver. : (7 votes)

I say make this a poll!

My opinion is that no, it is not tacky. The color blue you have displayed above is very pretty and looks as if it would mesh well with your wedding colors anyway. I say go for it!

I don’t think so the shoes look like they go with your overall color palette. Now if they were like an electric blue then I would say yes. But the shoes you chose, which are gorgeous by the way, are anything but tacky.

    I think they’d be great.

How long is your dres? Will that much show even show?

They might pop a bit, since they would stand out as being the only teal.  But having a color scheme doesn’t mean everything matches, just that it coordinates.

If you love them, go for it.

Not at all 🙂  Our theme is black and white and my shoes are bright blue.  My dress is white too, same with my bouquet.  I think it’s fun!

I like the idea of using it as a something blue!  My Fiance is Cuban, and they have a “something red” tradition, but our colors are green and aqua so red didn’t exactly fit.  We’re going to do a red velvet cake as a way to sneak it in!  I think having one contrasting accent like that is fun!

Ooo… I like those shoes lots.

Tacky, I think, is when you do somethign that makes other people uncomfortable.  Blues shoes are a matter of taste.

If you love them, wear them!
