    do you know what their chairs look like? i got lucky in the fact that my chairs were red – and my colors were black white and red – they werent a perfect match but close enough plus it was dark and we had uplights so i dont even think anyone noticed.

    Depends on what the chairs look like and what type of chair covers you use. I was against chair covers especially with sashes but my chairs at standard metal folding chairs with brown paint on them. So I was left with no choice but to get them. Luckily my SIL offered to let me use hers

    What do the chairs look like?

    Personally, I think most of the time chair covers look worse.

    Depends on what the chairs look like and how they go with the venue and your theme. I’m generally not a fan of chair covers but some chairs definitely need them.

    I agree with @KatNYC2011 – I feel like sometimes chair covers look messy.

    It totally depends on the chairs that your venue has (or that you’re renting), but most people hardly even notice what the chairs look like..

    We have gold chivari chairs so not a chance in hell will i be covering those pretty things. If the chairs were plastic or folding or something, I might rethink that. Post a pic of the chairs, please and we’ll help you!

    Ours are forest green padded folding chairs.  Not the most beautiful sight, but I don’t think anyone will remember what they sat on the entire night.  The only memory will be in photos, and I don’t think spending $300 for a memory in 1-4 photos is worth it.

    @San100: What are your colors?

    Honestly, I think those chairs are fine because they just kind of blend in and you don’t notice them.

    As long as they aren’t dirty looking/stained I do not think you need chair covers.

    If spending the money for the chair covers means you can’t have “something you really want”, then I say don’t have chair covers. It certainly doesn’t sound as if you really want chair covers.

    I think those look fine as well without the covers 🙂

    There’s nothing wrong with those chairs; they’ll blend in with whatever decor.  Skip the chair covers and put the money towards something you and your guests will care about.
