xo_mrsbear :  Those converses will not go out of style. If you like them and feel like they fit your personal style, get them!

xo_mrsbear :  Yes! They are! Specially now wearing them with cute midi dresses etc. – Its very “in” I have the same pair you posted, but they do not tie, but have laces if that makes sense. From Nordstroms 🙂

FutureMrsBex :  Really? Maybe going a size up may help? They are super comfortable – I think thats why they have been a staple for so long 🙂

The pair you posted, yes definitely in style. I too am a pretty classic/preppy dresser (think J.Crew & Lilly Pultizer) and they are perfect for when you need something other than a sandle/flip flops but also not flats or boots. They’re super cute paired with casual dresses too.

xo_mrsbear :  These here 🙂  Just a little rose gold so definitely not over the top!

Am I supposed to have a personal style? I never thought about that. I guess my personal style would be “satanic trailer park hooker on a night off”.

In which case, yes, Chucks never go out of style. Even if they are terribly made and uncomfortable for my old feet now.

Converse haven’t been part of a “trend” for years, instead they’re more of a staple now, like wearing cardigans or sunglasses. They’ve really never gone out of style.

I’ve been wearing them since 1970. Sometimes they’re in, sometimes they’re not. Matters not a bit to me!

xo_mrsbear :  I personally think they are classic and most everyone I know has a pair. I would pay a little extra and get the ones with cushioning otherwise they are horrible for your feet. Plus they look the same on the outside.

I should note that I’m not very into fashion but I try to at least look a bit stylish. I say if you like them get them!

slomotion : Try the chuck 2. They got bought out by Nike and the new ones are sooooooo comfy now!

engie :  I think I just have weird pinky toes. They’re comfortable in the sole of the shoe and fit, but they rub just on the edge of my toes enough to cause blisters.

xo_mrsbear :   BlackbirdBee :  as far as in with kiddos they were the thing (in our area anyway) about 3 years ago, now the kids lean towards Nikes.

But I also agree with them being classic and never going out of style.

xo_mrsbear :  I think they are a classic. I still see a lot of online personalities wear them.
