I am attending a good friends wedding Nov in Florida. It is at a hotel on the beach on a Sunday night. I have seen the bride’s dresses and the reception dress is really sexy. It is an adult only event, and I know it will be a pretty fun “party.” I am 25, she is 23 and I know many of the guests will be around that age.
Considering the circumstances, are either of these two dresses appropriate? I am 5’4. Thanks ladies! I am open to alternate suggestions too : )

I think they’re appropriate given the context. I prefer the second dress as it seems a bit more mature and formal. The first one feels a little too teen/junior to me (I’m 26 for reference).

These dresses are both really pretty, but I voted for the second, turquoise one because the first one seems a little bit younger, and more “New Year’s Eve” party dress; it’s less “sexy/sophisticated” than the turquoise one.

I love the first one, but agree with the other bee’s that it seems more NYE-ish. I would go with the second one

Both feel too “juniors” for me.

I think the second one is more appropriate (and I personally like it better) ditto PP’s who said the first feels a little younger. The second one is a little more sophisticated sexy.

Thanks ladies, I totally agree that the first one is a little more NYE/junoirs – I just had to ask cause it was so darn cute! Thanks for snapping me back to reality.

I’m a conservative old fuddy-duddy, but I’d wear the second one to a Florida beach/hotel wedding! I think it’s perfectly appropriate for the wedding you described.

Given the event, I say they are appropriate. My vote went to dress 2 because dress 1 is a little too girly promish for my taste. The 2nd one is made for a sexy adult woman.

I prefer the second one. It looks more put together and formal, but still very sexy and fun.

I like both of them. I think the second is more appropriate.

The second, agree with everyone else that the first looks a bit too ‘young’.
