Yes I loved and adored them. I wish I had them now. They lasted 3 weeks the last time I had them filled. Plus you get to have them in all the honey moon pics too 🙂 I had Xtreme Lash one’s put on.

I was wondering the exact same thing earlier. I have a gift certificate to a spa and just may try them out 🙂

I know this is a weird picture, but here is what mine looked like after the first time I had them done. As you can see from the before pic on the top I had very little lashes

@mwitter80: Wow it looks great!

I’ve been thinking about getting them as well. I see deals for them on groupon and lifebooker all the time so I’m thinking of trying it out before the wedding to see if I like it.

Im not a fan at all.  A girl I worked with did them so the whole admin team had them.  I always felt like smacking them in the face because I thought a spider was on their eye.  (joking!)

They are good on length but I find that they make your lashes almost look thinner in comparision

My mom got them one time and she was super allergic to the glue. Her eyes got really red, puffy, and had some kind of liquid leaking out.  Next time she went back they tried using the hypo-allergenic glue and she still was allergic.

I loved my lash extensions for everyday wear, but when it was time to get ready for the wedding, I thought my makeup looked weird b/c I could apply mascara the normal way.  I didn’t like the little gap between the extension and my eye lid.  I’d go with individual false lashes… and they’re a lot less expensive!

I also think they damaged my lashes…

@nhanvey: Yeek! Good to know. I may try a test run before the big day!

Here’s what I do- and it’s super cheap.

I get the individual false lashes from anywhere- Ulta, Sally’s, Walgreens- for $3-$4. I also purchase the semi permanent individual lash clear lash glue (although my sister uses regular removable lash glue).

I put a coat of mascara on my lashes. Then, I pour a tiny bit of the lash glue somewhere, like a small scrap of tin foil. I pick up a lash with a pair of tweezers, and dip the end into the glue, so there’s a small drop of glue at the end. Blow on it for a few seconds until it becomes tacky. Then carefully apply it to your lashes. You just have to lay it on top of your lashes and they should stay. I put a few on the ends and a few towards the middle of my lid. After they dry, I put on another light coat of mascara. They blend well with my natural lashes, and voila- more volume and length.

It might take some practice, but totally doable!

I’ve had eyelash extensions, and I loved them. I was a model for a beautician practicing applying them (i.e. it was free), and she did an amazing job. I will be doing individual falsies for the wedding though (cheaper), and they should look just as good for photos – but extensions look real in person, In My Humble Opinion, just like you have SUPER long eyelashes. Whereas individual falsies (they are clumped – not really individual) look a bit more fake, but not as fake as a whole strip. 🙂

no. i have super long lashes, but they are straight so i had xtreme lashes for half a year to save me time from curling them. they were really long and curly looked awesome in person, but when it comes down to pictures, i felt like it made my eyes droopy. just get the clusters for the day… they are pretty awesome.

if you are gonna go with individuals, make sure you test them out 2 weeks before so u know how ur eyes are, then get ur fills on ur wedding day so u don’t have sparse lashes.
