You can get fake silk flower petals and Joanns and Michaels. If you use their coupons, the cost is reasonable. It really depends on how long the aisle is as to how many petals you will need, but I suggest just getting one of the larger boxes of petals and you should be fine with the amount. Just instruct the flower girl(s) to scatter a little or a lot depending on how long your aisle is. I am not sure how much it would cost for real flower petals, but if you are using real flowers for your ceremony, ask your florist if they would be willing to just give you the flower petals as an add on at no additional cost. If you choose the silk ones, you can always try to sell them after the wedding.

Hopefully its not tacky because our venue will only use the faux flower petals :/

You definitely have to use a lot if you want to do the whole edge of the runner! If you dont use enough it looks tacky, well at least thats what our wedding coordinator at the venue said! lol Looks “gap’ish” or “hole’y”. I’ll attach with a pic of what I mean! hehe!

Totally agree with Noritake22 and only have the flower girls sprinkle a little down the aisle! If you got them each one of those smaller boxes from JoAnns or Michaels Im sure they would be ok! Im sure the little girls will make it worth their wild!

GOOD LUCK! [attachment=1585193,198132]

A lot of places don’t let you use real petals because it can stain the floor. I used fake ones haha, hopefully they aren’t too tacky 🙂
