Just the wedding industry’s great excuse to make more money… Wink

I’d rather not buy any favours if it doesn’t add any value to who my Fiance and myself are. Obligatory favours are not fun to give nor receive.

Wedding favors aren’t a necessity. I’ve been to weddings that had them, and ones that didn’t. Really it didn’t matter either way–what mattered was celebrating the happy couple on their wedding day. It’s not all about some stale almonds or candies in a tiny pouch. If you wanted to go cheap, there’s always the small tubes of bubble solution or something equally inexpensive. 🙂

Not a necessity, but fun 🙂 I know some people think favors are a waste of money or don’t even take the favors with them, but I like to take them home as keepsakes 🙂 What can I say, I love presents lol

They can be cute, but they’re SO unnecessary!  If they are a trinket of some sort the only people that will care to keep them are the couple themselves and the MOB/MOG.

If they’re edible — you’re usually already feeding your guests so why bother?!

Nope not necessary. In my opinion adults don’t need to go home with a loot bag like at a children’s birthday party!

I did not have favours and noone missed them!

Not necessary at all. I’ve been to wedding without favors.

With that said, I do always enjoy and appreciate the edible kind, esp. chocolate.

I like a favour. I think it’s a nice way to say thank you. I have never been to a wedding that didn’t have a favour.

LOL Who voted that they are necessary? I’m curious to hear their thoughts.

When I go to a wedding, I don’t automatically think “Now where is MY favor?”  Those who would think that way … I just don’t know.  I’m more focused on everything else!

I only seem to take notice of favors when they’re bad…so unnecessary.

Donating half the favor money to charity and putting out a bowl of the wristbands in case anyone wants to support it. The other half is going towards the sweet stand which will have little thank you stickers to seal the bag.

i dont really think these are favors as such … i think theyre totally unnecessary
