    I’m curious about the point that ‘they look fake.’

    Um, when does ANY polish on nails look NATURAL? Even a clear coat is noticeably unnatural so…I don’t get that argument. I do think they can look tacky if done wrong, but I don’t get the fake thing…maybe I just misinterpret. 

    I love French Mani’s. But truthfully, they’re YOUR nails and you can do whatever you want with them regardless of other peoples’ opinions.

    for my wedding I had a Gel French Manicure over my real nails, with some little crystals to modernize it a bit. I LOVED it. 

    I really dislike overly long french manicures, and ones where the white part starts unnaturally low…ick.

    There are some tacky ones, but I will always love a classic, elegant, and subtle french manicure. No square tips, no pink, and the white tip needs to be natural and curved-not too thick.
