My best friend had a hotel wedding and I think that I am doing one too.  It is at a marriott, but it is a really unique one that is in a converted cotton mill.  I really hope that I can book it!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with a hotel wedding. They can be absolutely beautiful. I chose not to do it myself simply because I design hotels for a living and I’d be way too picky!

I love hotel weddings!  I only went to one hotel wedding, and it was my favorite because we could just walk back to our rooms at the end of the reception.  I like how they are so convenient when you have everything in one place and it’s a well-oiled machine!  I can appreciate a unique venue, but since they don’t do weddings often or usually, sometimes the logistics aren’t figured out and cause more stress to the wedding party.  Just make sure you have a good wedding planner/friend/family member who can keep on top of things on your Big Day:)

It all depends on the hotel! Heck yes, it’s great to have everything you need available in one place, but not with a brown patterned carpet and apricot wallpaper. As long as the style and architecture appeals to you, why not?
