Are you referring to signature drinks?

I think a signature drink is just fine.  I think it’s kind of cute.

It’s cute and I think it’s one of those details that are common on Pinterest and the Bee but not in real life unless a guest has recently been involved in wedding planning. I think it’s cutest if the cocktails are the drinks you and your groom actually like though- if they’re just made up for the party, then it’s weird.

Ok, don’t see much difference then between this and a Signature Drink (those you pick yourself and maybe give a corny name to either something that is special to the 2 of you or goes with your theme)

    They are fine…

They can be a bit cheeky tho if you decide to use the names of real drinks… one for the Guy & one for the Gal (which is sort of what I thought is where you might be going when you said Mr & Mrs Drinks)

In any case, you have to remember that in most circumstances, the majority of your Guest List won’t have done the Wedding Rounds extensively… only those of your own age who have lots of friends getting married… and the occasional middle aged couple (or an elderly Guest) who has had a lot of relatives getting married of late (Kids, Neices, Nephews, Grandkids & the like)

So the majority of Guests usually come to a Wedding surprised by all what they see before them, not having seen it presented at a Wedding before.

It is just here on WBee where we so much of the same thing that after awhile it seems run-of-the-mill / same-old-same-old standard fare.

    Hope this helps,
