I’d likely call them light brown. Amber isn’t often used as an eye colour here and I usually think of the colour amber as being more yellow/orange than brown.

And to me hazel is a lot more green than that, but I think that can vary a bit regionally. My brother in law is from Mexico and there his eyes are considered hazel, but here in Canada we’d more likely call them light brown.

I’d say light brown/regular brown here. All brown eyes look amber in the sunlight, so sunlight isn’t a factor lol.

Beautiful brown. Hazel eyes have multiple colors in them. Amber eyes have more yellow and are lighter even outside of direct sunlight. Usually where the lines get blurred is between hazel and green because hazel are green on the outside ring and brown/yellow/Amber on the inside ring like this:

Beautiful eye color!  Brown, light brown and even amber could all apply.  Not hazel.

laugh :  Your eyes are light brown with central heterochromia – you have a darker brown rim around the pupil.

SVandy60918 This eye is actually green with central heterochromia. Hazel eyes look more like this:

or this:

The big difference is that in your pic the golden rim is centered around the pupil and the remaining iris is clearly a greenish colour. In the pics I posted, the golden colour extends well into the iris yet the colour of the iris would still vary based on lighting conditions and how the light hits the eye.

ETA – Also, you can see a melange of colours in the iris including blue, green, amber, brown.
